Chicken pieces are pretty good, tender and juicy. The chicken sandwich is also good but meat is a little dry there. Overall food is okay and overpriced

Are you ready to have the best chicken sandwich you've ever had? Forget Popeyes. Forget Chick-fil-A. Heidi was so friendly even explaining the simple menu to me. You will spit on every KFC you pass from now on

New Year’s Eve this place was still open around 8pm and so glad I picked this spot for a quick dinner. I ordered the three piece tenders, waffles and a Diet Coke. The chicken quality is really good, cooked to perfection. Tender and juicy with the good amount of seasoning(overall a good tender). I recommend using their dipping sauces to accompany it, I got the ranch and habanero honey. Now the waffles were probably my favorite part and with the syrup it was solid! I highly recommend trying their waffles even over their chicken. I’d definitely come back again and try more their menu items. Parking is limited but there is plenty la seating inside.

My chicken sammie was fabulous 🤩. The sauce and chicken combo was an explosion of flavor. The handsome young man working provided top tier service with a great attitude. If the options are over whelming in Grand Central Market know that Lucky Bird is a great option. :)

Lucky Bird Chicken is THE place to eat in the Grand Central Market in downtown LA. The Market is great for office workers, tourists and other visitors (it is right across the street from Angel's Flight), and anyone downtown at meal time. Lucky Bird is the only place you should eat it if you are in the Market for a meal. My wife and I (along with some friends and out-of-towners we bring along from time to time) have eaten at Lucky Bird about 8 or 9 times since we have discovered it. We frequently plan on eating there when are in downtown or somewhere near it. Simply, the fried chicken is the best I have ever had. It is always moist and tender on the inside, and crisp and delicious on the outside. The seasonings that they use make it just perfect. And they have a variety of dipping sauces you can choose from, all delicious. You can get pieces of chicken or a chicken sandwich and you can't go wrong. But my all time favorite is the chicken and waffle combination. It is a culinary extravagance that you won't forget. Even though the counter has a diner-ish feeling to it (as do all of the food vendors in the Market), I rate Lucky Bird as a top restaurant for good, hearty, and delicious food. and the best fried chicken you will eat that puts the chains whose names you know to shame. The only downside is that parking can be tight in the parking structure attached to the Grand Central Market and sometimes you need to roam around the Market to find a place to sit, at least at lunchtime. But if you are downtown for any reason, you should go to the Market and eat at Lucky Bird. I think you will surprised at just how excellent it is. I am getting hungry just thinking about it the chicken and waffle combo.....

Now this is some good spicy honey chicken sandwich and the way they put the sea salt on top is real good. Thank you my Lucky bird.

The young man taking orders, pouring beers, and serving food is the most polite and professional gentleman I've had the pleasure to interact with. You order a beer, my guy pours to the rim of the cup only to add a 1/4" of masterfully crafted head on top of a full cup. The chicken sammi is out of this world; huge portion cooked to perfection with ingredients so fresh and crisp. The Mac and cheese was rich and creamy; 10/10 there too. There's so much goodness here. If you're in the mood for amazing chicken and want to be served by the best staff in the world, stop by Lucky Bird. You won't be disappointed.

I never get chicken sandwiches because I don’t like the thickness. I wish they would allow cutting the chicken in slices but they would only cut it in half. That’s the only complaint I have. Other than that, the hot honey chicken sandwich is a must. The aioli is really good and the potato wedges are thick but seasoned well! The lemonade is different yet good and the employee Sunny is so sweet! I had a great experience and now I bring friends here!

Juicy chicken sandwich. Got the “secret menu” Buffalo chicken sandwich. Even though it wasn’t that saucy, it was still good. Mac n cheese is super creamy and delicious.

OMG best fried chicken I had in LA. Me and my boyfriend couldn’t stop eating. This goes to my list of one of the best restaurants in LA for good food. Also Kevin who works as a server/cashier deserves a raise!!! He has a really good customer service and went above and beyond. I really recommend coming here!
