Delicious food served as fresh as possible. Unique because it has cold sushi (a variety of fish) with warm rice in a roll that is easy to handle, made just for you. No emphasis on fancy presentation just simplicity efficiency, deliciousness, and speed. Lines can be very long and the wait is unpredictable.

Perfect to hit the sushi craving without needing to go to a whole sushi meal. Also great for solo dining.

Can’t get enough of this place!! Go on the earlier side on a week night to have no wait! It’s a sushi bar that only sits about 20 people so it fills up quick. Good thing the food comes out fast so there’s a quick rotation. You get an option to order a group of 3, 4, 5 or 6 rolls at a very decent price. I usually get the 4 along with a sashimi option. It always the best hand rolls I’ve ever had! This place will change the way you feel about sushi if you’re on the fence about it!

I love this place as it allows for a quick lunchbreak with delicious food that never makes you feel gross or stuffed. I love people-watching and sitting on a table with everyone is especially great when you are coming by yourself. The noori paper is crunchy and the mix of the hot rice with the cold fresh fish in the handrolls is absolutely amazing. Its my favorite place to come. You also always get a very fresh handroll by getting it each time its your turn. Even if its full it doesnt take long, ans waiting for your handrolls makes you enjoy them more. You pay around 30$ for your handrolls without the drink, and the tip is added in the bill. Its pricey if you are used to eating a lot, but when you are fine with 5 high quality rolls then you will leave very happy and the price is worth it 😍

This is place is on the expensive side but the sushi here is phenomenal. It's very fresh, portions are a little small but I definitely would go back. They keep their menu pretty simple but I appreciate that! You really savor very bite!

So so so good!! Ordered the noize and have absolutely no complaints. Each hand roll was super fresh and the menu was the perfect amount of food. Loved the unique rolls especially the monkfish liver and spicy jicama ones. Definitely a good (solo) date spot. Wouldn’t recommend coming in a group larger than 3 if you don’t want to wait exceptionally long due to the structure of the sushi bar. Definitely not vegetarian friendly sorry a cucumber hand roll won’t cut it, if this is you go to ami down the street

Great experience. One of the male waiters wore an oddly low cut / revealing shirt and that was a bit discomforting, but everybody else was fantastic. I’ll be back to other locations of this chain in the future for sure.

Can’t go wrong with kazunori. Great hand roll. Super efficient line and usually no longer than 20mins to get seated. I usually go for the special or the other hand roll (uni, ika , And the crab roll). No need for tips but a fixed 16% service charge

KazuNori is always on my favorites list whenever I am in Westwood. Their fish is of the highest quality, is always fresh from the market, and prepared excellently. I have very high standards for sushi, since so many places in LA fall short of the traditional meticulous preparation. KazuNori does not! Their hand rolls have warm rice in them too, making them much richer in flavor. Another thing I always look out for in sushi restaurants is the ginger. Theirs is natural, not dyed, making it truly delectable and authentic. I wish I could go to them for every meal--though I almost do! Would recommend arriving before 5pm if you do not want to wait. It is first-come-first-serve at the bar.

Simply the best! There is a line most of the time, but it moves fast. Unique experience that’s top-notch.

It's a fun sushi handroll place with a 24-person bar counter. They make the handroll fresh in front of you. The fish is extremely fresh and their sushi rice is the best.

The difference of textures and temperatures (crunchy seaweed, hot rice, cold salty fish) is what makes these handrolls perfect, as well as fast and friendly service👌 will be coming back for more

Might be my favorite restaurant in LA, the service is always fantastic and the food is always amazing. Simple set up with waits normally being short and a very chill atmosphere
