Great awesome place....sooo comfortable....love the rib eye plate and margaritas....staff soo friendly and Mo is always smiling and welcoming....recommend this place to everyone I know and more

It's always like home at Mo's. Christiane took care of us for breakfast yesterday in grand style, as usual, good food, good atmosphere, and the company of many friends. It's always my week-end treat. And oh, those sausages!!!
Mo's is our absolute favorite neighborhood bar and restaurant. Best prime rib around (no joke)! The owner is always going around saying hello and thanking people for coming by. I'd like to thank him for such a fantastic establishment!

Mo's was recommended by a friend to kill some time before our flight. It was a great place for us to rejuvenate our buzz with the bartender and, I'm sorry, but I forgot her name (it was a sleep deprived weekend), but she was great! She directed us to the beach for a little break in between drinks and all worked out well. Thanks!!

Mo’s Place is so welcoming. I’m not really a bar person and it’s a mellow environment. The juke box is playing, and it’s kind of a neighborly feel rather than a meat factory. Yesterday there was a private party and - a little more crowded than usual - Mo actually found me and my friend a table as a favor.

LOVE Mo's! You can't beat the $3 happy hour and the ladies are always so kind. Great local hangout. I'm here at least once a week since I live right across the street and always enjoy myself. Mimosa brunch on the weekends and full breakfast menu available. They also have plenty of TVs and sports packages so a good place to watch sports games. NOT an ideal place for those looking for "clean eating" but very good bar/hangover food.
Staff are great. On special was a Reuben sandwich. 4 out of 10 stars. The rye was too fluffy, thick cut and had no bite, the corned beef was chunky not thin sliced, there wasn't enough sauerkraut, and chef forgot the Thousand Island or Russian dressing. (Kate at the bar hooked me up.) Not even sure the cheese was Swiss because it also had no bite. There was no TANG to a famously tangy sandwich. Having lived a long time in NYC, I file this under "Travesty." I love Mo's Place for its local, friendly ambiance and warm staff, not to mention the proximity to Toes Beach two blocks away. I just wish the food were better. Oh, the onion rings were great. Big, beefy and f'real. Still: go and decide for yourself. It's a fun and happy place.
Mo's was my hangout back in 2010-2014, and always served high quality food and great drinks...after being away from the US for the past few years and returning only for few days in Playa del Rey, it was nice to come "home" and still have quality food and drinks!! Happily, Mo is still around to ensure a high quality restaurant!!
Great local bar with pool table and bar food plus full menu. Has full menu as well. Not a ton of tap beers. Outside seating and pool table.
Stopped in twice while in town for the weekend visiting friends who live in the area. First time for drinks but a couple people in our party of eight ordered food which I sampled and it was all good, rib eye steak, pasta, and ceviche. Came back two days later for lunch, fish sandwich, French dip as well as an appetizer. Good beers on tap but beer wasn't as cold as I would have liked it, but I guess that's why you can ask for a chilled glass. Pool tables which thru concert to dining tables in the evening. Great, local, neighborhood bar/restaurant.
Fun atmosphere and awesome staff! Ingrid made us amazing drinks and helped us pick some great food choices! Jan was super helpful and just a gem. We were celebrating our first day of our honeymoon and they were all so sweet! Mo, the owner, came out and was so welcoming and accommodating. Set us up with a personal bottle of wine with all the necessities for our boat ride the following day. Everyone was just the best!!! Will definitely recommend to others and come back while we are here ❤️
Visiting from Canada and came across this place, was only there for a short time but it was amazing. Extremely nice staff, server Mandy's amazing and Alberto came and chatted with us, was also very nice! Definitely recommend and definitely will be coming back
Always great food n service. Love the $2.00 mimosas! Perfect place to take a walk after eating.
