Always satisfying if not the abundant, fresh and spiffy feel of the Katsu-ya's on Ventura Boulevard. It is from the chef and not the SBE version which is so important. And it is much less expensive than either!

Simple, easy, and relatively affordable. Small sushi restaurant with great character. Great place for a quick bite, and quality product.

What a fantastic little sushi spot! The hostess/owner was so lovely and we and our guests from Japan were totally satisfied by the great food and cozy atmosphere. If the short rib is available, it's so juicy and flavorful...not to be missed. The gyoza were on point as well as the large variety of sushi dishes we had. And finally, there was divine green tea tempura for dessert. Do not hesitate, great stuff.

Amazing quality sushi for the price! Takeout was relatively quick and easy with parking & payment area located in the back of the restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good sushi!

Came here on at least 3 separate dates. Fair selection of wines. Great outdoor seating. Good service. Fair selection of snacks and food. Parking can be difficult.

Best sushi in LA in my opinion. For the price, speed and quality, I really haven't found anywhere that compares. Friendly staff and chefs. The place is a small restaurant tho so if you don't have a reservation you can wait up to 45 minutes sometimes. Pickup is always fresh and super easy. I suggest the baked crab hand roll, Robert roll and albacore belly!
