The food was amazing. All the dishes had great taste, it smelled wonderful! I don’t recall the names of the dish but the manager provided great recommendations since it was our first time there. The sauces for the curry were the best. This is not going to be the last time you see me here. The customer service was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, who’s curious about Indian food.
Oh my goodness!! This restaurant is absolutely delicious! I eat Indian cuisine often, and this is by far one of my favorite places! The service is remarkable! Tanya was so nice and took great care of me! Her recommendations were spot on! The Chicken Tikka was well balanced and spiced to perfection. The Tandoori Shrimp was crispy yet juicy and succulent. The Naan is to die for! I even ordered dessert! I’m a boy from the south, the rice pudding reminded me of my grandmother’s southern dessert. If you love Indian food, this is the place to go LA! Until next time!!
This place has such great food and the people are so nice. One lady even so kind enough to give my father free tea because he was not sure if he wanted tea. He really liked the tea. She also gave me free soup because I never had that soup before and I wasn't sure if I wanted to order it. They are so kind and serve such tasty food.
Really tasty food!! This is a regular order for our work and everyone wants to get in on it. Lots of vegan options if you ask them! They do a vegetable coco (coconut milk vegetable korma that tastes delicious when you do medium spice)—not pictured. The vegetable samosas are also delicious. This food in the photo was mixed vegetable masala (not sure if it’s vegan), garlic naan, and rice. They used to give complimentary rice during lunch but now they charge $3 for it. Kind of a bummer, but I get it. We still keep going here regularly. Tanya and everyone that works here is super nice and accommodating. We love Lal Mirch!
Food was really delicious and fairly priced. Customer service was nice. Overall we had great experience. My new favorite place to eat Indian food.
Would give 3.5 stars. Absolutely loved the lentil soup and Lamb Biryani! I would definitely get something other than Chicken Makhni next time, as it wasn't very flavorful. I enjoyed the vegetable samosas (especially the 2 sauces that came with it), but they were another item that my boyfriend expected to be more authentic and flavorful. While I could possibly see myself giving Lal Mirch another try in the future (but order other dishes), it did not win us over as a go-to spot when Los Angeles has so many options and high food standards.
It's been a while since we visited here. The staff was nice and the restaurant was pretty busy. Nice vibe.
The food was tasty (Tikka masala and coconut chicken curry were our main courses). We'll be back.
Insane curry! Just visited Lal mirch tonight and it was a delight! The food was very good (especially the mango masala) and the service was excellent. The staff made you feel welcome and were very friendly. Highly recommended! Special mention to Abu who was also very helpful.
