We went here for my mom's birthday brunch. The staff was super accommodating and every dish we ordered was fabulous. We shared the Tapsilog, eggs Benedict, spam breakfast sliders, garlic noodles, fried banana with ice cream. Oh, order a side of bacon. I don't know what they do that's different but it was so good we ordered two more. Great customer service and great food. Definitely coming back when we are in the area.

My wife brought me here for Fathers Day Brunch and what a treat. The ambiance was perfect. The service was by far the best I've experienced in any restaurant. The food was delicious and you definitely get your money's worth. I fell in love with this place and will be going back very soon!!! Must try!!! You will not be disappointed ***** Stars!!

Great modern spin on classic Filipino and Asian dishes. Garlic noodles, Wagyu sliders , and Lechon Kawali (best dish). Will be coming back for the rest of the menu next time!

Found this foodie gem while searching for a tapas place close to the Hollywood Bowl. #filipinotapas? Why not! Though I had my fingers crossed based on the high ratings, I didn't know what to think when we pulled into the somewhat shabby (but not chic) strip mall (Be prepared to valet park whether you want to or not, btw. But that's the strip-mall owner's mandate -- not Barkada.). Da hubby and I were coming from out of town, and were looking for a fresh, but tasty dining experience we could share with family from the area. Don't let the strip-mall venue fool you. Every bite was savory and divine! The kalua pork nachos, short rib trifecta and calamansi chicken are a must have! Be sure to end your evening with the ube 3peat and mango brûlée. My mouth is watering just writing this. Oy<3

My husband and I love to eat out, and we've been to many places both around our city and other States, as well as abroad. Well, when my son recommended "Barkada" to me to celebrate last Sunday's Mothers Day, I agreed because he too is a foodie like us! True enough, my family and I were so impressed by everything; the food, the ambience and the excellent service, from the greeter/host to the pretty ladies who served us! The dishes; super delicious from tapsilog (complete with vinegar sawsawan), adobo egg Benedict, a tad spicy home made spam slider, etc. I have a sweet tooth, so the dessert selection between the ube (yam) and mango cream brûlée was hard, I wanted both, lol! I have yet to try their lunch and dinner servings, but I definitely will soon. Yes, I will definitely recommend "Barkada" to my own barkada; from grade school high school mates, to college sorority sisters, even to former office mates. Mabuhay!

The food at Barkada is delicious. They keep to Filipino roots of the cuisine, while integrating American influence and they do it well. The vibe is friendly, chill, and genuine. This is definitely one of my go-to spots in Hollywood!

Filipino food with a twist. Good presentation and super dooper flavorful. Beef tapa is a yum yum sarap with good balance of salty and sweet. I would like to eat garlic rice that are not sticky and fresh. The Fresh(Sariwang) Lumpia, wrap taste like crepe that adds to the flavor, it would easy to eat with julienne cut, but overall it has authentic taste with ground peanut on top. 😋

Mkay, so this place is the cutest but it's also sexy and cool. The staff is the best and I've been dreaming of lumpia and garlic noodles since I left

Very delicious food and nice atmosphere. The Golden Rush cocktail was great, also every single of the tapas we had, like the bun with tuna or pork belly or the (almost famous) noodles. I would definitely recommend this place!

Quick bites, great service!! I loved my drinks so I'll be back for drinks soon and the live music was super fun! Made for a memorable evening. I would like to try the lunch or brunch! It was clean, friendly, and ample in space for a big party. I'm so picky so my 4 stars is for the tapas because I'm not accustomed to eating my meal in three bites. If they offered some bigger tapas items to share I would say 5 stars for sure!!

Fun spot with tasty food and drinks. Met up with some friends last night. Right from the get go was greeted by friendly staff. We were seated quick and never had to wait long for service. The cuisine is modern/experimental Filipino. Everything was delicious but the Sisig knocked it out the park. Music was good and drinks flowed all night. Been a while since I enjoyed a night out like that. See you all soon. They also have a brunch which I need to try.
