It's literally a simple bar. Sure it's a little out of the way in Hollywood but don't be fooled, it's probably one of the better bars out there. It's well kept, cozy, and the bartenders are some of the best out there. They also got some pretty nice specialty cocktails that aren't terribly expensive like many other bars out there.
There's seating along the back and a dance floor where the DJ plays great music. You will most definitely have a better time here than any other bar because the crowd is generally much more well mannered and respectful, at least when I went. There was no trace of pretentiousness at all here and the experience was overwhelmingly positive from the moment you get ID'd by the bouncer to the moment you leave.
Groovy space and good to shoot some pool and play some spacey's. The Mules were yum!
Went yesterday on a monday night. Shockingly slow for a Saturday night but so was every other restaurant in the row.
Service was really good. Our server was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the menu and drinks. He definitely good at describing each menu item and made good recommendations.
Pork belly sushi, lobster pasta, fish tacos were all good. Nice selection of beers on tap and a nice cocktail list.
This place is always a solid and reliable Mexican restaurant. Came at lunch and was able to find a parking space. They seated us in a rustic Mexican style ambiance. They brought chips quickly with a bean salsa that was very tasty. I got the Molcajete burrito with chicken. It was spicy but not too spicy. I mentioned we were short on time and the waitress brought the food in a few minutes. I wouldn't call the food great but I liked it . This will continue to be a mainstay.
I'm definitely going to return! This place looks like a club inside almost like Geisha House in Hollywood. The prices are really affordable and there are really delicious rolls. They even have a yummy kids menu. I really enjoyed a peach sake. my role had the famous spicy tuna and the perfect amount of crunch. my sister ordered the albacore sashimi and it is a delicious crunch to it. My only complaint was that when we got sat on the top floor, the tables were really low and small for our party of five. Also there was a server who said it was his second day and wasn't able to tell us what our roll was that he was setting on the table.
Holy Toledo's Batman!!! The wait was an hour long but we lucked out and a nice couple let us have their table. Score!!! While we were still waiting for that lucky situation...we stood at the bar and were given beans and chips. The bean dip was a little spicy which made it even more delicious.
We got seated and didn't have to wait too long for our food. I ordered shrimp and carne asada and it was amazing. The ambience is lively and everyone seems very friendly! Definitely enjoyed it.
