This is the type of place you go to if you're a local or a super Korean (and what I mean by super Korean is, a 1st generation Korean).
I've discovered this place because my father took me here before for their "yuk-soo bulgogi".
This is their specialty item. It's pretty much bulgogi (marinated beef) but cooked in its own au jus, so you can only imagine how tender and flavorful the meat would be. They charge per serving. Usually about two servings is plenty for three people. It comes with a spring rolls that you prepare yourself, beejee soup (bean curd stew), cold kimchi soup (very refreshing), and steamed eggs.
Of course as any Korean restaurant would, it comes with plentiful side dishes and rice.
I'm fond of their cold acorn jelly soup "mook sah bahl" which is perfect for the summer. The broth is slightly frozen- slushy like, has kimchi and some seaweed in it. A must try!
