Excellent food, service, menu and attention to customers. Have been going to the uptown location for years and never had a bad experience, great staff/people. Would like to see chicken fried steak, french dip sandwich, coleslaw and pickles available on the menu/with the dish.

I am traveling for work and we googled what to do in Los Gatos and this place popped up. I had no idea what to expect. We were seated in Trisha's station. What a lovely server!!! She knows her menu well. The restaurant itself is very warm and inviting. I am told the owner and the creator of the house recipes name is Robert. From one chef to another I appreciate your work. I have the opportunity to be able to relax this morning and take my time. I got to watch the pleading of several things as it lets the kitchen. From the cinnamon rolls, carrot walnut bread crab cakes, breakfast potatoes and apricot French toast all looks cooked and seasoned with love. If I lived in this town I would make this my regular breakfast hang out. This is a place that one can get addicted to. I am not one who enjoys pretentious food. This is purely food cooked with passion. I would like to even note they have clean bathrooms. I'd like to believe that when a restaurant has clean bathrooms that they probably take even more pride in their kitchen. My deepest congratulations to the chef and his crew.

I love this cafe! I would drive the 400 miles again just the food and the staff was amazing I felt like I was at home. My waitress was so sweet and suggested audio books for my drive back to San Diego. Hope to return soon. And the potatoes are to die for!!

May have to move to Norcal just so I can eat here again. Got the Grilled Cheese Bacon Eggs Benedict and it was really good. Staff is no nonsense but efficient. Can be busy but that is just another testament to the place. Would recommend.

This is still my favorite spot for breakfast when I am in the area. I have so many good memories with people I love here. The Enormous Soufflé Style Omelettes and country potatoes are easily enough for 2 meals and the fresh homemade bakery items (in place of toast) are to die for!! Yum!!

It was as awesome as our last visit. Great customer service, I forgot the name of the waitress but she even stood up on a chair just to take our family picture. Thanks so much, whoever you are!

I've been charged Ming here for 30 years. My favorite breakfast joint. Eggs Benedict and home fries are to die for. So is the apricot French toast.

Came here for brunch on a Thursday afternoon. The service was fast and the staff was attentive. I recommend the berry yogurt smoothie if you want something refreshing and nutritious! The portions were huge and potatoes were crispy. You have a choice of coffee cake on the side and it was served warm. I did feel like the food could use a little more seasoning. However, it was overall a good dining experience!

Came here today for breakfast. It was outstanding. The restaurant was full of customers but we were seated quickly. The menu had a tremendous variety. Everyone in our party chose from the breakfast menu. The food was delivered to our table not long after we ordered. It was delicious!. The portion sizes were huge! We will definitely return!

Soufle omelette is a great value. Comes with a choice of bread (bagel/white bread/wheat bread/sourdough/raspberry coffee cake etc), and fresh fruits. The service is quite timely, and the ambience and cleanness is okay. This place often has a long wait list so make sure to come early.

Excellent breakfast / comfort food. Potatoes are well cooked (never under done). I had the corned beef hash and eggs. The corned beef was perfectly cooked. You can get this kind of food at many places, but few will cook it as well as they do here. I love simple tasty comfort food and that's exactly what I got here. I'll definitely be back.

Loved it! I didn't expect this place to have vegetarian options but they got a lot. I ordered vegetable roma. They gave a special herb mix paste along with it which was delicious and the highlight of the dish. The price of the items felt acceptable for their meal portion size. This place has a wait time of 20-25 mins for brunch. And they only have street parking.

Came for a Saturday brunch. Amicable staff and quick service. No wait time and busy café. Strawberry guava mimosa was decent and served nicely (not a flute glass thankfully). Food was good but nothing special but filling. BLTAT was typical, packed and fulfilling. Black beans were pretty good as well. Parking available around the area.

Recommend flank steak and crabcakes. Both tastes good and has a great portion! The service is pretty quick and there are plenty of seats both inside and outside. So we only wait for 5 mins after arrival at 11am on a Saturday morning.

This is hands down one of the best brunch place in the area. Definitely the place to go to get your hangover cured after a long night out. The portion is quite large IMO and we ordered 2 items for 3 people. We got the Irish hash Eggs bennedict and the french toast. Boy!! they did not disappoint. Very delicious and very filling. Not to mention, our server was soo nice and very attentive. Will definitely come back if I’m in the area
