We went here while attending the Kentucky derby 2018. We heard all kinds of great things from everyone so we had to try it . It didn't disappoint us . There were so many flavors in what we ordered that I stopped counting & just kept ordering more ! Their menu has a lot of tapa style so you can eat many different entrees & they specialize in Ramen bowls ( which is new to me ) which had such incredible rich flavors . I eat meat though my wife is vegetarian . While this is a vegetarian & vegans paradise , they have incredible pork & chicken offerings also bursting with Asian flavor ! This place is a must & will be back next year when we come to the Kentucky derby again . Met the owners Jason & Aenith , both very talented chefs loving what they do & living the dream of owning their own restaurant & working in the kitchen side by side . Wishing the best for this pot of gold here , they have earned it !

Only place in Louisville you can taste Lao influenced cuisine. Their Jaew Bong is on point and the food, cocktails and decor are top notch. A really comfortable place to get a delicious meal and drinks with friends. Their Brunch is awesome as well!

I've been hearing about this place for quite some time now and finally was able to make it in for dinner. Everything we had was excellent! Of particular note was the chicken sandwich which was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. Actually a friend of mine dining with us double down and ordered a second one! Excellent.

A must try! This building has been a few different concepts and I never stopped to try until I read the food review in the courier. The salad, chicken, dessert, ramen- all on point. We will be regulars.

We really enjoyed our experience from the service to the food, it was exceptional. I got the fried chicken sandwich in the sweet soy with fries and was not disappointed. We also shared the kimchi Mac and cheese and the fried cauliflower as well as the egg rolls and some of the best calamari I've ever had! I would definitely go back!

Just had an excellent late dinner at this new spot. Pork belly steam buns and the chicken nugs were on point. Very solid craft beer choices too.

Our go to for the best Ramen and Korean style fried chicken in town. Expect both a wait for a table and parking during peak hours. Can't say enough good things.

Lots of great flavors! Atomosphere was cozy, chicken was delicious. Fries were homestyle fried, extra crispy. Sauces talked, but didn't talk your ear off. Best part was the various pickled veggies served as garnish.

Haven't had this much fun at a bar in forever. First off Manuel (the bartender) is the šŸ of bartending. Recommended some great sake and specified exactly which one I'd like depending on my preferences. When I mentioned that the one thing missing from the Ramen was some garlic, he went to the kitchen and came back with some fire spicy garlic which made the ramen even better. The pork belly buns is fire btw, best item fr. There was a drink that my friend haven't had in a long time, he looked it up, made it, and the flavor was on point šŸšŸ. Other that he just made the time spent there more fun and had some really nice conversations with him and the rest of the staff. 100% recommend this place, altho do make a reservation it does get pretty crowded.

Service was fantastic. Turn around was very quick. She was kind and fast, always kept drinks refilled. The food was great, too. I really enjoyed the pan fried carrots. The ramen is necessary, we got the curry one. Bonita fries are great. Only thing I'd ask for would be more sauce on the fries.

Yummy and fun. Glad we tried the signature cocktails, they're unique but all very sweet. We preferred the margaritas. The food was so creative and everything ordered was delicious.

Top notch wait staff and food. We try the pork buns, carrots and ramen. Everything was delicious. The carrots are amazing- please try them! The buns had perfectly balanced flavors and textures. The ramen was a huge serving with lots of flavor.

We were on the way home to STL from Harrodsburg and stopped here for some lunch. I googled ā€œbest chicken Louisvilleā€ and this popped up. We walked in and were greeted by a very kind hostess. The atmosphere was tremendous. A neat mix of modern and rural. I ordered the boneless chicken because they didnā€™t offer just wings or just bone-in white meat. I know itā€™s blasphemy but Iā€™m not really a fan of dark meat so I couldnā€™t take a chance with ā€œchefs pickā€. I got the sweet soy and xtra hot flavors. Both were absolutely fantastic. The sweet soy was exactly what it sounds like and the xtra hot was covered in dried and fresh Thai chilis which had quite the pleasant kick. My only qualm was the dryness of the nuggets. I know theyā€™re easy to overcook but I wouldā€™ve liked them a bit juicier. I suspect they were made in a large batch and reheated to serve considering how quickly they arrived at the table. I would strongly recommend to whomever is cooking that breading and frying the chicken to order would catapult the quality into the next tier. This would obviously take more time to get food to the customer but itā€™s well worth the effort. Also my girlfriend is Korean and laughed when the side of ā€œkimchiā€ arrived. It is absolutely NOT kimchi. Itā€™s just Napa cabbage covered in gochujang. As the chicken sits I would give it a solid 8.2/10 clucks. Super friendly bartender/server. Would recommend.

My mom and I went here for the first time today! Iā€™ve wanted to go for ages, but the wait is long if you donā€™t have reservations. I finally got my act together and made reservations. I was blown away! They have a parking lot, which was unexpected for the neighborhood. The outdoor dining area was beautiful, and if it wasnā€™t 100 degrees, we would have eaten outside. The restaurant itself was super cute! I get the feeling it was a renovated old house. It was cozy and inviting, and the decor was unexpected and beautiful (think faux flower accent wall and cool vintage furniture). Every single staff member that we interacted with was friendly and cool, and our server Daniel was both DELIGHTFUL and efficient. Our delicious Summertime Spritz cocktails took less than five minutes to get to us! They were light and refreshing, but dry! I do not care for overly sweet drinks, so this was bonus points! Our food came out less than ten minutes after we ordered, and it was so fresh! We got the banana flower salad, wood ear mushroom egg rolls, house pickles, and each of us got a 3 piece fried chicken. The salad was super fresh and crisp, the dressing was flavorful, it wasnā€™t over dressed, the fried shallots were lovely, and the salad was double the size of a normal side salad. The pickles were clearly made in house as each one had a different brine. They also pickled them all quickly, so they maintained a crisp texture. The fried chicken was crispy, hot, and tasty. I think my favorite item was the wood ear mushroom egg roll (though itā€™s a tough choice). The rich hearty mushroom flavor played beautifully with the pleasingly sour veg. My husband who hates the texture of mushrooms said it was the best egg roll heā€™s had (and that was even after having to drive twenty minutes home to deliver it to him!) I really wanted dessert, but I was too full! Also, because we were there for happy hour, all our food plus three cocktails was under $60! I cannot wait to come back and work my way through the menu!

The food was excellent! The roasted brussel sprouts were amazing and a must to try. The Bonito fries had a great taste and unique presentation. The tuna actually moves. We will be back soon. The outdoor patio is also a great place to relax while you eat.

This will surely be a new regular spot for us to enjoy! The fried chicken sandwich was the most amazing fried chicken Iā€™ve ever tasted with the hot jeaw bong sauce adding an amazing twist! The service was amazing, our server Daniel was super welcoming and friendly, along with the other servers who greeted us and we had great conversation with them as well. Thank you all for making this powerless (Wind Storm 2023) weekend better and we will see yā€™all again soon! Donā€™t sleep on this place, go get something to drive your taste buds crazy!
