Absolutely love this place and the friendly attitude of all the service staff and owner. I always said that the Empire was the first restaurant in Louisville that you could take a date to and impress her with the quality food and service. Always love Eric's smile behind the bar and desire to twist your arm for that extra half glass and story. I always feel welcomed by Lexi and I feel that I matter when I walk through the doors. And I love to see Zac moving up through the ranks and I smile when I get him as my server, for the stories and the good humour. Keep it up, Empire.
We had an absolutely lovely time at the Louis-Dressner wine dinner. Alex and Lexi were incomparable hosts. The food and wine pairings were knee-weakening delicious. The reps for the Natural Wine Company were most gracious with answers to our questions. Thank you!
Great atmosphere , wonderful service, creative and well executed menu. I am never disappointed and always excited to return. Calamari salad is to die for ! Tuna burger is amazing. One of my favorite restaurants in the Boulder area.
Food was excellent. Service was excellent until the waiter got a bit over busy. And then it was a bit slow but spot on...
Empire is our family favorite. The kids get the best Shirley Temples in the world and love the menu while we get to eat our foodie hearts out and sip excellent wine. We've had incredible service each and every time - we always feel like family!
Fantastic food at a reasonable price; wife love the cocktails too.
Go in for the burger (definitely the best in town), mac and cheese (heavenly), the mussels, and Wine Wednesday. Oh, the french fries are amazing too. There's much more on the menu to write home about, but start there & you'll be a happy camper.

Salad was superb. Hi Ruben was a little greasy,
No real big pieces of Corned Beef, pretty much shaved the tiny pieces.
Suffice and Southwest and meatloaf was good we just had a little after bite of spice. The macaroni and cheese was very good.
Staff was courteous.
They offer outdoor seating.
So we started with appetizers the artichoke dip and deviled eggs are so good. Next was entrees tried my moms fish and chips and holy heck it was breaded perfectly. I had the steak which was top notch cut and cooked perfectly. Next was dessert the beignets were amazing and the cheesecake delicious.

Another nice meal at the Empire. Everything was consistently good. Bid Salad Good. Very good Meatloaf and Pan Cooked Chicken.Also - some of the best French Fries. Beignets very good dessert. Will visit again.
