Great service, waiter, and experience. We saw The new Batman movie.
Waiter even took off a 9.50 charge cause my buddy didn't like the alcohol special beverage that went with the movie, good stuff. Great as always. Food was solid too, had a burger and fries, nothing fancy.
We've been going to Alamo since we lived in Austin. It's a nice place. The seats are comfortable. The tables for food is ok. If you order a popcorn and drink for the two people that share the table. It's fine, but if you order two different things to eat plus drinks. It can be kind of crowded. They have older movies that people know and you can sing along with the movie. That can be fun when the whole theater gets into it (sorry can't do that with The Rocky Horror Picture Show anymore). The popcorn is great and bottomless, but the food seems to have been going down hill since Covid. They've taken off some items off the menu and changed how they make some of the items and the serving sizes. It's just not as good. Don't get me wrong. I've seen it with other restaurants. Prices are getting higher and they need to keep the costs down.
I scheduled my movie for the wrong date and it was about an hour before the movie started and I called and told them what happened and the box office lady changed it for me and even gave me the same seats! I've always had to buy another ticket wherever I've gone so I am very pleased with the service! The food is also very good and service is awesome! 10/10
I love Alamo Drafthouse. they come and take your order while you watch the movie. no need to get up and miss the movie except to use the bathroom. This place is the best. I was so sad when. it closed down cause of Covid but they're back and that's what matters
