Love coming here! Always met with friendly customer service and the food is amazing! Whether it’s the buffet or ordering off the menu, it’s worth a visit!
The Food is excellent. I have eaten here many times and it is always great !! They have lunch buffet or you can order off the menu. It is always busy for lunch. I have heard many other people at work mention this place and how much they like it. The restaurant is clean and also the bathroom was very clean.
My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with Royal Indian Cuisine. We were recommended by a friend to go try it and we surely were not disappointed! I had the Goat Tikka Masala and my wife had Chicken Biryani. Both dishes were delicious, the service was very personal and helpful, and the atmosphere, while plain, was intimate and perfect for a family dinner. What was fun was seeing other people's colorful and exotic dishes being delivered. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be returning.
***On a side note, these dishes are authentically seasoned, which includes a level of spice a little high for sensitive taste buds. So, if you like Mild salsa, ask for very mild for your dish, if you like Medium salsa, ask for mild, etc.
One of the best ever!! Every dish we had on buffet was quite tasty. We really liked the chicken tikka masala--spicy. Wished we didn't live 200 miles from Lubbock

With the closure of Sri Maharaja the opportunity to fill a void in serious Indian cuisine in Lubbock arose. I'm exceedingly happy to report that Royal Indian Cuisine has done exactly that.
RIC is a cozy and cheerful restaurant if less grand than Maharaja. The waiters and waitresses are earnest and helpful, and the owner is often on hand to see that customers are satisfied.
As to the food, it is utterly splendid. On my two visits I've had the spinach and onion pakodas, both of which were faultless, and two chicken dishes, chicken Hyderabadi and chicken masala. The former was terrific, while the latter was equal if not superior to any Indian dish I've had in a restaurant, and I've had them across the western hemisphere. RIC's menu is voluminous, and given the excellence of the dishes I've tried so far, I look forward to exploring it exhaustively.
RIC does not, as of yet, serve alcohol, but you can bring your own wine or beer. One other note: as of the present RIC is still ironing out some supply issues, so the entire menu, as of May 27 anyway, is not yet available. That is the only reason I give this restaurant a 4.5 rather than a 5.

Stopped into Royal Indian Buffet in Lubbock, Texas. We arrived pretty early and they let us come in and sit and once buffet was ready they let us go first in line. Not a large buffet but definitely hits all the Indian staple food. The butter chicken was really good and savory! We had to get our own drinks but they did provide us a cup of ice for our canned sodas. They have fruit and desserts and the food was flavorful. Location is small but definitely worth it. I wish they had garlic Naan though! Prices were good.
The food is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. Absolutely amazing place to eat. The whole experience from start to finish is great waitress is always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better. Always a great spot to get great authentic indian food.
This is a great place to try Indian food. Trust me I am from India studying at TTU and I actually feel the good is really authentic here. Everyone has different taste. So try different things and select your favorite. Also some waiters don’t speak the American English so just have patience.
I had never had Indian food before. I was blown away from my visit. I can't remember the last time I ate so well! 😊 The service was amazing, everything was clean, I loved the atmosphere and of course, the food was stupendous! It's my favorite place to go to when I visit Lubbock.
Best Indian buffet around 300 miles radius That's the most delicious food I had in recent times ,Rich flavours of India .
