We went there today for the first time. The pizza was very good. Not drinking in oil like other places we have been. the salad bar thrown in was a plus.

Best thing was stromboli. Friend calls and says he has a meal deal for two buffets do I want to meet him. Who turns down free food? I think I had been to this place years ago with one of my daughter's volleyball teams after a match. I had never eaten their buffet. As buffets go, it was what you would expect. There were enough pizzas to choose from. They were hot and fresh. Their pizza isn't award winning but it was certainly edible. The crust was nice.
So we are sitting there eating and I see my buddy has something I had never seen before on his plate. It looked like one of their dessert deals. I asked him what it was and he tells me stromboli. Hmmmm, I don't think I have ever had that. So I went and got a couple. I think one was the philly cheese steak one and the other was something with spinach and something else. Both were excellent. I did not partake in the dessert selection but there were several choices. They also had some different break sticks I did not try. I am trying to watch my figure. Maybe some day I will get laid again.
There were no pretty ladies in there unfortunately. Mostly just blue collar types and a couple of college kids. The place appeared to be clean.
One thing I am going to bitch about is that instead of napkins they have these huge rolls of hard brown paper at your table you tear off to use as napkins. This paper is the consistency of packing paper used at UPS store. If you wipe your face with it you may injure yourself. Jesus H. Christ, do your patrons a favor and buy some napkins or at least some paper towels to put on your the table. Some cheap places buy toilet paper like this. I know you know what I am talking about. I think it is imported from India or China. The quickest way to ruin a nice dining experience or a good dump is to have bad napkins or toilet paper!
Overall, I would say if a friend calls you and says they have a meal deal from this place do you want a free meal, well go on and go like I did. I gave this place a thumbs up despite their crappy napkins.

The Alfredo pizza with chicken tastes exactly like a chicken alfredo pasta- only better! There appears to be less salt in their pizza than the average chain pizza store's. This is a good thing. Best of all, the toppings and cheese are generously applied.
Cheesesteak Stromboli is amazing! Also try the pizza rolls and cookie pizza.
Really good!. Personally I love Double Dave's. There are a handful of really good pizza places in Lubbock, this is one of them. Two of my favorites are the Spinach Stromboli and the thin crust Buffalo Chicken Pizza. If I really need a pizza fix I go in for the buffet. I can stuff my face on a wide range of pizza and the buffet is clean and constantly restocked.
Apparently lost their liquor license. :( but you can never go wrong with 'roni rolls and cheesesteak Stromboli.
We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and Garlic Spinach Strombolis, and a small Garden and a small Ceasar Salad. Both strombolis were phenomenal and I'd be hard pressed to choose a favorite. The Garlic Spinach was so flavorful and the Philly had supremely tender steak and just a hint of a spicy kick. The salads were much larger than I expected for ordering the smalls, so they are well worth the $3.99. One could be enough for two people to share as a dinner salad, or would be a great cheap meal if you aren't super hungry. I'm looking forward to going back again soon.
BTW, there's a Pizza of the Month - if you follow the guidelines for the club, you can earn an exclusive prize at the end of every year. Wish I'd known about this just a couple weeks sooner. I'll definitely be keeping this on my radar for 2023.
Yummy!! Definitely have to try the pepperoni rolls. We've enjoyed the food each visit. The service is ok. Apart from ordering, we didn't really interact with anyone enough to have an opinion on it. It's consistently hot, fresh, and delicious! I used to be a frequent Sunday afternoon visitor...I sure do miss the buffet!
We tried the pepperoni and Dave's Fave. Both were on time, hot and great tasting. Staff was friendly. We did get it to go but the store was very clean and well decorated.
The employee was very nice & Very helpful, the restaurant was open to eat inside.. very clean.. our pizza was delicious . We will come again.... Thank you
Customer service was nice, we ate the buffet. The buffet was kept very clean and we'll stocked even through the lunch rush. It was delicious! Kids really loved the pepperoni rolls and the stromboli! Definitely coming back.
