A good secret. Been to 4 bar K for both the Friday lunch and for private parties. Chuck the owner is a colorful fellow, but Ive always found him friendly and fun to talk with. He gave our student organization a good deal to host our banquet 2 years in a row. The Friday lunch is a great deal ($8, bring cash!): you get 2 chances to go through the buffet (more than you will need, you will not be hungry). The menu items sometimes change, but there is usually beef and sausage on a tortilla with a great sauce to go on it. A few sides and often an excellent soup and more (including a dessert!). Did I mention the 8 bucks comes with beer? It may not be craft beer, but shiner is often available. The only reason I don't go more often to the Friday lunch is that its quite a haul from reese technology center. It also has a tendency to kill Friday afternoon productivity! Otherwise, Id be there more often!

Went there 5-6-2022 staff was very nice and helpful. Had a large party joining me. Bbq and fixing were excellent w/ free beer and wine . Music was performed by Kelly Hastey, got to dance with my favorite lady. Will be going back again soon.
I came here on Friday for lunch with some friends, it was one of their recommendations, and it was very good barbecue. You can get as much as you want and you can choose what you want. The brisket is delicious and the sausage they had with it just made it that much better. The BBQ sauce was good and tangy and the mashed potatoes were great! They have live music too and the singer that they had went I went was very talented. It was all very reasonably priced as well. Overall, I would recommend coming here without a doubt. Just make sure to come early before the line gets too long!
Awesome place. Chuck the owner is a terrific person and cook. I wish the camera on my phone had been working. Daughter Megan is quite a asset and people person. Now Paul is their PR rep. Couldn't find anything better suited to fill those shoes, all four of them. You see Paul is a blue heeler, Australian Shepherd mix. Beautiful blue and black coat, well mannered and we'll trained. He has an outside bark and an inside bark.
Fridays only 11:30- 2:00. $12 barbecue lunch plate with free beer and wine!! Live music and great atmosphere.
