The Volcano Chicken was a hit at my table. Everyone wanted more of it, should have ordered another plate. Overall, everything was good including the fried banana with coconut ice cream!

Our most recent visit was quite good. I got the crispy duck panang, my wife got the Pad Thai and our 3 year old
son got the chicken panang curry (adult entree as there are no curries on the kid's menu).
We all thought the food was delicious and we LOVE Thai food.
We have yet to try the sushi as I have difficulty ordering sushi at a Thai place, but I'll give it a shot one day.
This restaurant is fantastic. I have never had a bad meal or bad experience here. Even on days when there is a line out the door, the staff make sure all of your needs are met. Service is phenomenal. 10/10.
Tom kha and Tom yum soups are magnificent. Pad Thai is to die for, and the curries are delicious. Sushi is prepared perfectly and the fish is very fresh. I will say that the menu is ever so slightly pricey. Worth it though. 9/10.
Definitely come here, whether as a family event or a date night event. You will never be disappointed.
Tom kha gai soup is to die for. Everything we've had has been very good. In addition to the above mentioned soup, the sushi and red curry chicken with sticky rice are fantastic. They are good at accomodating those who must eat gluten free and they offer GF soy sauce. My only complaint is that they do not offer a pot of tea. The green tea is just a cup of hot water with a tea bag.

Best Thai and Sushi in the world!!!. An amazing dining experience. The staff is the best trained and most friendly of any staff in Tampa. Always smiling and go out of thier way to give you the best dining experience poosible. We have been going a couple of times a week for years now and its our number 1 choice for dining and the Food? 5 Plus stars!! The green curry is to die for!!! Thom Ka soup, perfect. Spring rolls and Crispy squid, excellent choices! Panang curry, supreme! And no one anywhere touches thier Pad Thai!!! You can never go wrong dining at Bangkok Sushi ! John and Angie are the most wonderful restaraunt owbners you will ever know. Thank you B1 and B2.
Wonderful Surprise. My wife and I recently reloctated to Florida and were hoping to fing a really good Thai restaurant. We found that in spades at the Bankhok Sushi restaurant, The food was amazingly fresh and flavorful . The place is spotlessly clean and the staff is delightful. We will definitely go back again soon.

All the fish used in the sushi was incredibly fresh and each roll had about 8 pieces and some of the specialty rolls had 10! They even took a special request for a roll that I wanted and it was delicious. We also got the massaman curry with shrimp and the shrimp were to die for and the curry was tasty as well. Overall great experience and I will absolutely be returning!
BEST SUSHI. This is the best sushi place in the area. The service is excellent and the sushi is extremely fresh. My husband and I have been here several times and we are always very happy with the whole experience. Also very clean. We will return again and again.
Very enjoyable dining. Consistently delicious food served attentively? Sign me up! I have eaten here many times and have never had even a slight disappointment. I can't say that about some of my other favorite places, which can be a little off sometimes. but still good. The (very) polite, soft-spoken servers really care that you are enjoying your meal and they serve surprisingly quick.
Also, healthy choices abound on the menu without sacrificing flavor. A big plus for me. I don't have to add an extra mile to my morning run!

Awesome. My favorite Thai place next to my house closed and I was looking for some place new. I took the recommendations from here and tried Bankok Sushi. I am so glad I did. I had the pad thai and it was one of the best I ever had. Warning: I got the 2nd degree of heat and it was HOT! But the service was great and all the food was very good!
Suprisingly Good. We went there not expecting much more than a decent meal. We would up with some very good food. Everything was very fresh and reaspnably priced. It is a bit of a trip, but far more authentic than some of the other Tampa Bay area Thai establishments. This is the only place I have been to that can actually make something spicey and flavorful.

Greatest thai/Suishi place hands down. Only negative is once you eat here it ruins every other thai/Suishi restaurant you will eat at. Literally everything on the menu is better than any other restaurant serving the same item. Best place in the US and espescially lame Tampa.
Like my dad's!. This is the only sushi restaurant that I have ever been to that seasons their sushi rice just like my father does. I'm very spoiled when it comes to sushi since my dad DOES indeed make the best sushi that I have ever had, but this is a great substitute.
Great taste at high prices. I've never eaten in the restaurant, only carry-out...but we get carry-out roughly twice a month since the place opened.
John the owner is a really nice guy, and the staff has always been polite and friendly. I've tried most of the entrees and they are full of flavor and always taste fresh. The sushi is always good as well, but I wish they had more non-fried options. Also I think a California roll here is about $7 and they go up from there, which is way too pricey for me (we almost never order Calif rolls, but thought I'd use that price as a starting point since most people eat them). We usually like to order sushi with our meals as an appetizer but when ordering here we shy away from it due to the high prices.
It seems like they charge Tampa prices even though they're in Pasco County. The food and service (carry-out) is top notch, but the prices are about $1-$3 higher on everything than I would expect from such an establishment.

The BEST Shushi in Tampa Bay. This place is phenomenal. The freshest, tastiest, yummiest sushi in Tampa Bay. The portions are large and the ambiance is amazing. I want to go for my birthday now. LOVE IT! It is a little pricey...but well worth the money.
Bankok Sushi Saves a Birthday. It was a night to remember for two reasons one horrible and the other PERFECT. Bangkok Sushi came to to rescue for a party of 19 on a dime. It was if they were expecting us. The service was so kind and personal and afte rwhat this party had just experienced at Benedetto's it was so calming and helpful to get back into a festive spirit. The presentation and flavor of the food was surprising and delectable. They have a sushi bar as well. This restaurant is beautiful and professional and a real gift to this birthday crowd of 19 folks.
This place rocks! The best Rhai I have had in a long time. The sushi looked like jewels on my plate. The fish looked and tasted extremely fresh! Definitely try thi place out.

Unbelievable AUTHENTIC Thai!!. I know this place is a little out of the way, but trust me, it's worth it!!! Every dish, I mean every dish, is off the chart! From the spicy tuna, to the duck, it is flavorable and affordable! My husband and I eat there at least 3 times a month and have never once had an issue! Even the Thai doughnuts are incredible! I'll Be back !!!. My date and I tried Bangkok Sushi last week and loved it. We started off with a Nam Sod Salad. The salad was seasoned to perfection and there was plenty to share. I had their Broccoli Delight with Chicken and found it to be excellent. You could tell that the vegetables were fresh and crisp. My date tried the Pad Woon Sen and really enjoyed it. She felt that their "special house sauce" really complimented the dish and didn't overpower it. We both had Thai Iced Tea and believe it was some of the best we ever tasted. We will be returning very soon.

What a find.... Located on the NE corner of SR-54 and The Suncoast Pkwy, this sushi bar and Thai restaurant is a great location.
I sat at the sushi bar and placed my order. I was offered a sample of their seaweed salad. This was some of the best seaweed salad I have ever had. A black, roasted seaweed, sesame seeds and other morsels, give this a nice nutty tone and jam-packed with flavor. I will order this salad when ever I go.
The dishes are prepared almost too pretty to eat. Great care is taken so that you do eat with your eyes first. The flavors are amazing and very complementary to each other (Ah...Sushigazm). Dishes were served sequentially and not all at once.
The couple next to me ordered sushi and Thai for dinner. The Two-Friends Panang (Thai) dish was large enough to feed 2-men or 3-women. Portions will not disappoint.
Owners are on site and work to ensure patrons have a great dining experience. I will be back on a regular basis.

The service and food is way above average here. You can customize dishes based on your dietary needs, and the food is made fresh. I love that you can get sushi, Chinese and Thai dishes. The main dish serving sizes are also larger than normal. We recommend the ginger duck, it some out sizzling, and the red curry. The Tom YUM soup and the appetizer tower is also delicious. The table next to us got a crab, shrimp and spiral cucumber salad that looked so good and fresh that we had to order it as well. It was so crisp, light and fresh, it will be a new favorite.
The food here is delicious! We have a big family, so we got a few rolls and it came out in the boat! Awesome experience for the kids and the adults if I may say so myself! We also got their take on beef & broccoli, and that was so delicious as well!! Excellent food, nice cozy little spot, a little expensive, but sushi usually is for a family of 5! Great time overall!
For the most part I always have a good experience here and the food is consistently delicious. Sometimes some meals come out not hot, but I enjoy bringing friends and family here for a good sushi/Thai meal. The plaza and restaurant is also a nice atmosphere for any occasion.
Really trendy and yummy food with massive portions. Two people can easy split most entrees. Staff was really friendly and helpful as well! Would recommend if you are looking for Thai food or vegan food in the Land O Lakes area. Definitely worth a stop, and very nice outdoor seating as well!
For Thursday night we decided to have dinner at Bangkok Sushi. It is a cool restaurant with a beautiful decor. We were seated by our server and served with menus and water. After browsing through the menu we decided to order Tom Yum Soup, Spring Rolls, Screaming and Super Crunchy Sushi rolls. We first got our tom yum soup. The soup was delicious and I recommend everyone to have the soup. Then we got our spring rolls. The rolls were crunchy and deep fried in oil. It was delicious rolls. After our rolls we got our sushis ie Screaming and Super Crunchy Sushi. We loved both of our sushi's. They were delicious and tasty. Loved both the sushi's. Definitely do try this restaurant.
We got crab Rangoon, egg rolls, shrimp in a blanket and steamed dumplings for appetizer. The crab Rangoon had curry in it, which was quite different but added a nice flavor. Egg rolls were pretty basic. Shrimp in a blanket also had curry in it. It almost tasted like a samosa. Very good!
The sushi on the other hand was just okay. We got a variety: screaming roll, tuna garlic, Caribbean, monster roll, kanisu, spicy crab to name a few. I would go back for the appetizers and volcano chicken.
Without a doubt, the only place around here that serves quality sushi rolls! There one of a kind Crab Rangoon are incredible and we love their Sweet & Sour Thai dish as well. We haven’t tried a sushi roll we disliked yet, worth a try! The best time to go is a weeknight for dinner or early afternoon on a Sunday. (recommend avoiding Friday and Saturday, still amazing regardless)
