Our first time at this diner and we loved it. When we walked in we were greeted right away by our server Sabrina. She was very sweet and was on point with everything. When we got our meals, the food portions were nice sizes that we ended up taking food home. Prices are more then reasonable and place is clean. Will definitely come here again.
Our go to spot. Service is always great and even my picky kids enjoy themselves. The mainstay dishes are tremendous and every now and then I go out of my comfort zone for something special. Don't sleep on the chicken parm. A very generous portion with a simple yet tasty pomodoro sauce. Great brunch also.
From Nico the owner along with his daughter Peggy to the waiting staff and even the busboys are all extremely helpful and friendly. I record it to all wether you live in the neighborhood or just visiting the area.
We have gone to the Lynbrook Diner several times when in the area and always have a good meal. The service is excellent and there is something for everyone on the menu.
Great service from a very sweet waitress named Sabrina
Loved this place and food too

Everyone is always so happy helpful and the food is amazing!! Today after all the dates we are married December 30,2016 and choose to have our first breakfast as husband&wife here where special people make special things happen

Been a customer for years, and I now have the privilege to work here and serve the lynbrook diner community..I can honestly say this is a great place to eat and to work.
Ive neen going there for a few years. I love the breakfast but there is a great variety of choices. Good family feel. Good people as servers.
Great Food All day and night long.
Every time I come home to Lynbrook I eat here. Excellent food, excellent service. Too bad Virginia is so far away.
Great place , nice people , friendly family business , thanks guys !
This place has a new owner and it seems to have been revitalized since it was closed over two years ago due to covid. Food was good service was great staff was friendly. I liked the food and service will probably go back
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was good however the bacon didn't seem fresh based on the color and the taste. I would go back but not order bacon for breakfast.
Our first night in NYC and it was kinda late so we where driving and came across this place :) never been to a dinner only every seen them in movies (we are from London btw) so it was everything I expected it to be all the portions where massive hahahahahhaha food was nice needed a bit more seasoning for our liking but still ok... the dinner had a nice look to it was clean an retro
It’s okay. Doesn’t have as many options as a normal diner, doesn’t have liquor license, doesn’t have flavored coffee or creamers. Will try again
Thanksgiving Dinner was so good..
full meal with a glass of wine and dessert and coffee at the end.. well worth every penny spent...🙂
I took my dad here for lunch. Friendly service, renovation is clean and simple. Matzo ball soup, greek salad and skirt steak - all very good! I recommend trying it for yourself.
Be aware that business hours are not true diner hours…closes 9pm week days and 10 on weekends.
The burger was really really good, the place looks nice and the staff was friendly.
Red apple diner is amazing as soon as I came into the door I was seated the place is clean great workers and the food was so tasteful and delicious as well as the appetizers yummy . Our waiters name was Donna and she was very friendly and helpful in every aspect I’ve been to a lot of diners and this one here is up there keep up the good work guys love it 🙏🏼👍🏼
This diner is now called the Red Apple. The Lynbrook diner closed 3 years ago. The Red Apple is a great place for breakfast. (That's all I've eaten there.) Large portions, great service and a comfortable decor.
Good food, we are native long islanders who live in Florida. There are no diners in Florida like long island ones. The food tasted really good. We liked the coffee. The service was okay. The hostess who sat us down was a little rude. It took us a long time to get our check. I asked another waitress if we could get our check since we hadn't seen our waitress, she said it wasn't her section. We miss diner food, just not the rude service.
The service was real and friendly. The place extremely clean and beautiful. The food fantastic. A hidden gem in plain sight.
The best diner in the area. Not only was the food delicious but the service was great as well. The atmosphere was pleasant.
Definitely would recommend this place for friends and family to eat at. It stays open late so if your ever hungry at 12pm it's open. A group of friends of mine went there around around 1 close to 2. The kitchen was closing in 15min but instead of telling us they were closed they still served us. The waiter we had was super friendly and easy going. The place itself has a great atmosphere and the booths are very comfortable.
