Hands down some of the best consome for Birria in LA, it's made with the traditional Chivo (Goat). It's been prepared in such a way that all the gamey flavor has been flushed out from the spices and richful broth. It's always served with freshly made tortillas and cilantro, diced onion, limes and salsa
My favorite restaurant! People are friendly and food is always delicious! I have been going there with my family and always leave really satisfied.
Being that I don't speak Spanish or have no idea what Birria was, this was my adventurous food finds. I found the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They will tell me something in Spanish and then translate in English so I'm sort of learn what I am looking on the menu. I went with the Roasted kid (goat stew) and tried the Tepache (fermented pineapple drink). They were nice enough to give me a sample just in case I end up not liking it if I order a whole glass.
My anticipation subsided when I cut my order. I took a bite of the goat stew and it was amazing. That means bus tender and juicy. It is not overpowered by any spices but I can still taste the flavor of the goat's meat. They don't serve rice or beans with a meal but the homemade tortilla more than make up for it.
The Tepache is like a kambucha made with pineapple and raw cane sugar. It is an acquired taste but if you like Kambucha, you should like this as well.
This was release an unexpected delicious find.
Oh and I ordered Flan for dessert to go 😉
What's there to say about this place right here pretty much all of the reviews pretty much say the same thing and I'm going to see the same thing their food is amazing. This restaurant is what can I say perfection. Probably the best Mexican restaurant of the entire city of LA. The birria is Amazing. Even my mom and dad who are from Mexico love the food. So if a person who is from Mexico loves this place that means that this place is obviously doing something right with the food. we've been fans of this restaurant and we will continue to be fans
