Reviews New Seafood Town

Ordered by phone, was told 10 minutes and it was indeed ready when we arrived. I think it is a good value for what I paid. My daughter and I each got the lunch special , I ordered Eggplant with Tofu and it was really good. The tofu was fried crispy and the eggplant and sauce were very tasty. Only problem with mine was that I ordered fried rice but they gave me white rice instead. It was okay, though.My daughter ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken. It was good, but the chicken was more soft than crispy. I had specifically asked for it to be crispy and it was not. And the bell peppers were not cooked well, still hard. The flavor was good, however. Not too sure if we would order it again because it was not crispy. If it was cooked to order, it should have been crispy because from ordering to pick up, it was not long. If it had sat around already cooked and then placed in the container for our arrival, that would explain why it was soft. The woman who took my order said they would cook it longer until crispy, but it does not appear that they did so. Included with each special was our choice of soup, which was hot and tasty. I got the Hot and Sour and my daughter got the Egg Flower Soup. Also included was an egg roll and wonton for each of us. Crispy and good. 2 fortune cookies for each of us finished the meal. The food was packaged in a sturdy divided dish with a lid and can be reused later if one wishes. The portions were generous, in fact, we became full and will finish the rest later. All in all, it was a good experience and value and I would order from them again. I would just make sure that the Sweet and Sour Chicken was indeed crispy next time.
