Sam's on Harlem was the perfect venue to host my baby shower. They were more than accommodating and made the space exactly what we wanted. I would definitely recommend this space for any type of event!

This review is overdue and very well deserved. We had a celebration of life for my father. I don’t live in town, but wanted a family run Italian restaurant that my father would have appreciated - Sal’s on Harlem fit the bill. Sal and Brigit are passionate owners and are conscientious about the experience you have. The food was divine, each dish carefully prepared by Sal. Every new course that was served was enjoyed by all of our guests - everyone expressed their delight. And, on top of that, Brigit and the entire staff attentively ensured that the day went off as success, and that we had amazing service. They went above and beyond - specially setting up the room and staff working overtime to tailor to our unique banquet needs.
When you have any occasion, certainly as important as someone’s memorial, you can put your trust in Sam’s on Harlem to host your event. I am forever grateful for the first class celebration for my father that he deserved, and on one of the hardest days for me.
As someone who has travelled extensively throughout Italy, many thanks to Sal, Brigit and team for bringing delicious, authentic Italian flavor to the Midwest and for all the care you poured into creating a stellar experience.
We chose Sam’s for a celebration of life a few months ago, and were blown away by the service and quality of food. Everything at Sam’s is made from scratch, from the pasta to even the cannoli shells and filling. My favorite appetizer was the mozzarella with macerated red wine cherry tomatoes - I tried to remake it at home. Both the service and setting was spot on to gather our families and friends together.
Every time I go to Sam's on Harlem I am welcomed with the warmest customer service and attention and smiles... You can tell the staff love to be there and love to make their patrons comfortable and accommodated. The taste of the food is out of this world and keeps you coming back. And whenever I can't come in I get delivery, which is always fast and hot and friendly. Thanks so much for all you do chef sal and Harlem gang!!!!!! Outstanding!!!!!! Their home made bread and salad dressings are to die for and no one's pizza even compares.
Sam's on Harlem is a great family dinner spot! They have many wonderful choices of food for everyone in your group. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The weekly specials are delicious. They recently remodeled and it looks amazing! Very modern and clean. Whether you dine in, get carry out or delivery you won't be disappointed!!
Sam's Pizza will forever be the pizza that I compare all other to. Use to be the delivery order of sausage & mushroom at midnight or later. These days it the quick dinner of the Sam's Specialty easy olives.
Thomas was such a wonderful server and made sure we were taken care of! It is great to be able to get such great service all the time!!
Absolutely phenomenal service and wonderful food. Our server Tom was lovely and so sweet to our daughter. I highly recommend and we'll definitely be coming back.
