It was our first time at Mustang Lounge, heard about it from a recommendation on Reddit. Service was good and very fast, we got the Brisket Burger and the Salami Caprese sandwich. Both were very good, I was happily surprised by the burger. The brisket was very tender and tasty. Neat place! Would recommend.
Server was great. Food was delicious. Shrimp was prepared perfectly. Creative for branding the Mustang into the bun of the burgers. Prices were reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.
Great food, the patty melt was awesome. I added mushrooms and they were tasty. The ranch was really good. Service was fast and friendly.
Ambience is great and food is delicious. We ordered crispy chicken sandwich and crispy shrimp basket. Crispy shrimp is amazing!! Staff is friendly and order arrived quickly. I highly recommend this place!
Amazing late night menu! Changes every night, and food comes out hot and fresh. Staff were super friendly, drinks are cold, food is delicious. Seafood chowder and fettuccine were top notch. Also, great music selection!
Food was good and the service was excellent. It was kind of down a side street and less busy than some of the other restaurants. There was some outdoor seating but it was a little rainy and cold that day so we ate inside. I got soup and my daughter had chicken wings with fries.
This is a really fun joint to eat! Yeah, it's more expensive than McDonalds, and it takes longer too. Put your big boy pants on and enjoy the show. They are BUSY in the summer, so no, the waitress isn't going to stand there and listen to your life story and pretend to be your therapist for an hour. Richard will seat you where he can, as soon as he can. You can see the gears turning as he watches over tables and guests!
We had a bit of a wait to get seated, but hey, it's busy. The three of us got seated at a table for four, so plenty of room for us. We had the BBQ brisket burgers, which were really good! We are planning on eating there this summer when we visit the island again.
I recall reading somewhere long ago that perhaps Hemingway was on Mackinac Island, and that he ate there. I can't verify that at this point, but I could see him at the bar, that's for sure. Great atmosphere, just leave your big city Michelin star restaraunt attitude behind and get real.
If I had to choose one restaurant to visit while on the island for food and drinks, it will be the Mustang Lounge. The staff are always friendly and attentive without being over bearing. The food is delicious and fairly priced. Food comes out quickly and hot! Cocktails are fantastic and every year we go and there is always something new to try. My wife and I have visited during summer and near off season(oct) and every time we were never disappointed by wait times, quality, and service.
So after walking around and exploring what the island has to offer, go cool down at the Mustang Lounge with their nice air conditioning and a cocktail.
Recently visited the island this past weekend and restaurant/bar hopped at night. When we went to Mustang's I had the Mustang Cider and my god it was delicious! It's one of their seasonal fall drinks so we were lucky enough to be there when they had it. It was amazing and is the main reason for this review! It was so good my husband couldn't stop sneaking sips, and we had to go back the next day to each get one for an afternoon pick me up. It tastes just like those caramel apple suckers, but it isn't overly sweet, has a great balance!
Food wise, we only ordered some dips that I can't remember the names of. We were a little disappointed when the dips were served cold (it was meant to be cold, we just didn't realize it when we ordered it), but it was still good! The warmth from the naan bread made up for it though, and that bread is so delicious and soft! Will 100% go back!
I loved the delicious food and the staff was very welcoming and very pleasant.

Stopped for a cocktail/beer on our walk around the island. Really liked the atmosphere... Oldest bar in Michigan!
Food was very good & so we're the drinks. The prices were high, but to be expected on the island. Service was good.
The wait at this restaurant was pretty short, but the restaurant was pretty busy which was great. The service was great and the food even better. I think the atmosphere was okay, the inside could use some updates but overall still very comfortable. The food was great, however, could have had a bit more flavor. Overall, highly recommend this place.
Food was great, service was exceptional. Our server was helpful, kind and funny! Nice place for dinner on Mackinaw if you're looking for a less uppity place off the main strip.
After a long day of the exploring the island this place was perfect to refuel. The staff was friendly and fast! The patty melt (add mushrooms) was so good, must order!
Summer drink menu was excellent! We also had a bloody and it was very good! Loved the inside decor and a plus is the outside is dog friendly! We had a nice side street view of horses going by! Will stop again!
Nice, laid back atmosphere! Pizza was delicious! One of the more affordable places to eat on the island during spring opening.
