Went in to grab a couple of chopped BBQ sandwiches for they road and a sweet tea. Sandwiches were good and the tea refreshing. Not busy the day we were in there. Outdoor dining for those that are COVID cautious. Also, drive through in side of building. I'll have to go back when I have time to order a proper meal and sit down to enjoy.
Somewhat disappointing. Coleslaw was very finely diced. So was the brunswick stew was almost pureed, may have been able to drink it through a straw. It was very flavorful though.
BBQ sauce was very thin. I should have noticed the small spout on the container. Soaked right through the bread. Pork was chopped very fine.
This is a great place if you have no teeth.
But again the flavor was good.
Ribs and chicken were good. Baked beans weren't straight from the can, they had some added ingredients like chopped onion. Brunswick stew was fresh and hot when I received it, it also was really good. Not too thick, not too thin of a stew. The service was extremely quick. I would definitely definitely try it again
A different taste than I expected but really good. I can't really describe it but the pulled pork, Brunswick stew, and slaw all tasted different than I've ever had....but they were good. The pork was moist and I could taste the smoke and see some of the bark. Definitely a recommend.
This place serves up some awesome food for a reasonable price. Great food and service. Can't wait to visit again!! Thanks for providing the BOGO cards for the junior tennis tournament. Bobby W. highly recommended your restaurant to us.
Real good bbq chicken. I would recommend the chicken. The bbq pork was okay. The best pulled bbq pork in Macon is at Finchers on Houston Ave. But the staff here at Fresh Air was friendly, and the place is clean.
Came back for a second visit. The ribs are very good. Super tender, and delicious. So, I would recommend the chicken or ribs. Their Brunswick stew is not really to my liking. There again, Finchers stew blows it away. No comparison.
Came back 4-21-22: got 2 chicken plates. Got potato salad instead of slaw. Good switch. Chicken was a little dry today.
The bbq is ok but the ribs are so good! Highly recommend!
I love when bbq taste as good as it smells and as good as it looks. They're menu is simple but the food is very good. I got their bbq chicken and the way they smoke it is amazing and the skin is perfect. The prices are very good. I will definitely be back.
