Stopped in for cupcakes for a small birthday gathering. I ordered 6 different flavors and they were all delicious. I would highly recommend Gigi’s to anyone.
Gigi's made my three-tiered horror themed wedding cake that was creatively designed by Lindsay and quite possibly THE hit of our wedding. It was so well done that it has been included as a photo in magazine articles written about our wedding. It was also so well done that I went back to Gigi's for a recent custom creative birthday cake that was again a hit! I would highly recommend them if you are looking for great tasting, original, creative cakes of all kinds.
Love the friendly service and smiles as you walk in the door of the shop and LOVE the absolutely stunning artwork that is involved with the decoration of the cupcakes! Gigi's Cupcakes in Madison has been gracious to donate dozens of cupcakes for Box of Balloons organization and we SO appreciate it.

Recently got my daughters 1st birthday smash cake from here. It was gorgeous, they were great at asking me what I had in mind and nailed it. I don’t have her pictures back yet but I’m so excited. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it tasted amazing. I’ll definitely order again in the future. Thank you!!!
They are some of the best cupcakes ever. I really like the princess cupcakes. And that this place is local too.
Excellent place, from customer service to taste! This place is cupcake heaven!
The cupcakes are really good, but when you spend almost $30 on 6 and are then expected to tip not less than 15% because they put them in a box leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This tipping for nothing is out of hand. Are Gigi’s employees really making what servers do? And if so , why? A tip jar is ok I guess, but to have it on a screen before you can complete the sale is ridiculous.

I worked with Lindsay from Gigi's cupcakes in Hilldale shopping center, Madison WI on my wedding cake. She did an amazing job!! I initially approached her with a picture of a cake that I honestly was unsure if anyone could replicate. It was a multi-layered, topsy-turvy styled cake with an edible tea pot at the top, and an edible tea cup placed off-kiltered on the side of the cake. It was adorned with lace and with flowers of various sizes. Lindsay smiled and said, "yup, I can make that!" We then spent some time going over colors and decorations to make sure it matched exactly what my husband and I envisioned for our wedding.
Fast forward to our wedding day - my husband and I see the final cake for the first time and it was perfect!! All night long we received compliments about the cake. Many people wanted our picture by the cake, and even one of the wedding photographers said it was the best cake she had ever seen (and I imagine she's been to a lot of weddings!) It also tasted delicious - we opted for the chocolate salted carmel cake blend with vanilla buttercream frosting. Yummmm!
I would highly recommend Gigi's cupcakes to anyone in need of something fun and sweet for their special occasion!

Fun cup cake shop. Not your regular run of the mill cupcakes each one is special. We ordered a strawberry shirt cake, birthday cake, wedding cake, cookie dough, cookies and cream, and an undecided (cupcake and vanilla)
This place is awesome! Perfect for birthday parties or special occasions. We did a cupcake tower instead of cake for the wedding (no cutting fee). Everyone LOVED it!
If you enjoy frosting, this is the place for you!! They also have a lot of really amazing flavors. We got a citrus sherbet flavor this time that tasted exactly like sherbet. It was amazing. They have a great mixture of decadent and delicate flavors. We can always find just the right flavor for everyone.
We got the wedding cake cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes with white buttercream frosting. They were EXCELLENT! We drove 2 hours round trip. The only not so positive comment is they are quite pricey- $54 for a dozen cupcakes. It was a special treat!
First time at Gigi’s cupcakes. Soooooooooo good! Reasonably priced, cupcake was a decent size and the flavor was outstanding! Definitely will be back to try more cupcakes and their macaroons!
