My girlfriend and I have been going here for a few years and have never had a bad experience, eat in or take out. The service is always great, the food is always delicious. I would highly recommend going here.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in NJ. There are many of them around, but in my humble opinion, this place is the best. If you like some heat, get the diabla sauce!
I typically order chimichangas or burritos when I go to mexican restaurants however tonight being valentines day my husband and I came in and order some kind of shrimp and chicken dishes. Mine had bacon and a tequila salsa. I have never tasted food so mouth watering and delicious. ...my husbands dish had artichokes and was equally as good. Our compliments to the chef/cook for a delightful dinner.

We have eaten here many times, also do takeout quite often. The food has always been good, the service has always been good. It sounds like someone has started a hate campaign against this establishment. I don't know the details but I have never seen anyone being treated badly when we were there. There are always at least two sides to every story and if you are unhappy then just don't go there again. This restaurant has been there for many years and would not still be in business if they treated their customers badly.
We go here all the time. We love it ! Never had a bad meal. We've tried other Mexican restaurants and didn't like them. Prices are good and the food is always hot and fresh.

We get take out from here all the time, but dined in for the first time. It's cozy and has a friendly atmosphere. Service was lovely and attentive. Food was great, as always.
I had an amazing experience here considering both the quality of food/ingredients and service. I always like to ask for my server for recommendations and wasn't disappointed with the below dish. I ate the entire plate and did not leave a single chip. Overall service was amazing. Super friendly and fast. I cannot wait to go back and try out more dishes. Clean with tables well spaced for your comfort.
Best Mexican food in the area with an amazing staff. Aracely and Jess are the best waitresses that make you feel like you're at home and are super friendly/helpful. The kitchen staff are extremely friendly and make amazing food at a great price.
The food is great and the service is excellent. Yes the prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for. The beef is steak not chop meat like most Mexican restaurants I visited in the area. Love this place.
Small local authentic Mexican in comfortable setting good for a family or a couple.
• MENU has a very wide variety of authentic Mexican dishes. Prices are high but worth the money for the quality.
• FOOD is always very fresh and consistent. Complimentary chips and salsa to start are great using homemade salsa that is some of the best you can get. Fajitas are excellent.
• STAFF is experienced having been open for many years. Meals come quickly when it is slow or with a full house.
• CRITICISM would be that with no fountain drinks they serve soda or tea in cans/bottles so it can add up quickly. BYOB available for alcohol
El Tenanpa is my favorite Mexican restaurant around. Honestly the salsa here alone is good enough for me. The food quality here is always amazing and the ingredients are always nice an fresh. Their menu is huge so there is sure to be something for everyone.

Food is fresh and we'll made. First time trying their tepeyac molcajete. It was wonderful. Plenty left over for another meal. Also tried their agua fresca tamarindo (drink)....so very refreshing and not over sweet.
