First time visiting on Memorial Day 2023. No complaints really, if anything, maybe a bit pricy, but nothing more than how everything else has gone up in price. They do have some reasonable priced items on their menu. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they had. I had a Puppy Chow Blizzard, wife had a mango smoothie, family had ice cream and shakes and it was all good. Quick service. Nice staff.
Wife and I had small Blizzards and they were great. If you love soft serve ice cream, I'd recommend it.
Service was Great. Popular place a few blocks from downtown Manistee. Also down the street roughly a mile is Lite House Park Manistee Beach

Tried for the first time great food,service,prices and got thru quickly even tho that doesn't matter,but just throwing it out there

Fantastic staff and great owners! This crew work their butts off making sure every treat is divine! They always have a mile of smiles, even when some yahoo holds up the line. Tip well, these kids give up their summer making your sweet summer memorable!!

Great flurries,brought the granddaughters.Employees really nice.One even came outside to see if anyone needed more napkins,never had that happen before at an ice cream place,thought that was very nice
They always make me something special that's not on the menu. Unfortunately the building is very small and the lines are usually outrageous. The turn up to the drive through window is such a tight squeeze between your vehicle and the curbs/sign. But the service is always quick, and they are always super friendly!
Never a disappointment. Very friendly staff and always delicious treats. This is the best Dairy Queen in all of Manistee, Mason and Lake Counties.
i like to come here once in a while but yesterday i ordered a Oreo blizzard with extra Oreo and there was barely any Oreo in it. mostly a cup of ice cream. somedays are good and others not so much.
(2nd day in a row and this happened again.)
update : I did end up speaking to the manager and she would ensure that the employees get retrained for that. it has been better only an occasional hic up but much better.
Awesome experience! Completely different DQ than the one that served us last year! I posted a one star review after last year's experience and the horrific service and product that was served. It was so bad I swore I would never return...
Until I came back to Manistee and was craving a hot fudge sundae. They must have new owners or something. Fast service, delicious ice cream, hot fudge, and the most important was the great customer service - very friendly! Last year they yelled at my old grandpa because he couldn't hear her say they were out of hot fudge. Anyways, kudos to the new manager/owner. We had a great experience this year. Will be back.
