What a hidden gem! Centrally located which makes day trips from camp a breeze. The camp hosts, Fred and Nancy, are so sweet and they also oversee the camp store on site. The bar/restaurant has that classic UP feel and the staff are great. Bathhouse and laundromat on site as well. Most campsites are full hookup and there is WiFi. There are some cabins too! Rumor has it that the campground is expanding. Can't wait to go back.

Really nice campground, well kept and everything works. It was the perfect mix of quiet and comfortable and hopefully we'll be back again in the future. The only thing I would change would be to have a bit more space between campsites and the only reason for that is because we're camping with a toddler and infant (and I don't think they help anyone else relax), but everyone there seemed fairly tolerant of us at least... The camp hosts were wonderfully pleasant and more people should be like them - they helped the camper next to us get parked and set up.

Fantastic RV park in the middle of the UP of Michigan. Lots of space for our four toy haulers. Grounds are very well kept. The bathrooms and laundry are very clean. The WiFi is really good. We did some site seeing and trail riding while in the area.

Great location for ORVs, located where many of the trails cross. The campground and cabins are clean and kept up well. There is a restaurant and bar also. Great food and historical location. The campground is centrally located to see Kitch-iti-kipi, Canyon Falls, Black Rock in Marquette, Pictured Rocks, Fayette Historic State park, Minors Falls and Agate Falls.

We have stayed here 2 times in the same cabin. I think it's number 6. It's the one with the 3 bedrooms. The cabin is very spacious and very clean. They have updated some. However, if you are really picky, look elsewhere. It's like they picked the cheapest handyman out there to do all the improvements. So if that would bother you, this is not the place for you. I gave 5 stars as to me for 1,000 for a 3 bedroom in this location is great. Your within an hour and a half from oswald bear ranch, tahquamenon falls, Fayette historic state park, then there are some closer places like picture rock, Warner falls, Miners Castle Scenic Overlook and falls,Palms Book State Park Kitch-iti-kipi we even did one further drive one day and went to iron mountain mine. Very cool. Kids loved that one.

This is a great out of the way campground! Very clean and level sites. Full or partial hookups. Pine trees, trails, nice camp store, cabins and a lodge restaurant that serves the very best food around! Don't miss Wednesday's white parmesan crusted fish special, it is the very best! Everything there is delicious! Very helpful friendly staff in all areas. Be sure to make camp reservations it is full most of the time.

Good food but I think more options are necessary. I couldn't find anything for my 11 yo. Loved the cheese curds

Stayed 7/3-7/11/21. Loved this campground! Small, but peaceful and quiet. Spacious wooded sites, some with E/W/S. Clean bathhouse and nice camp store. Loved the Friday fish fry at the lodge and delicious burgers. Food was fabulous. Super friendly staff at the lodge and they hustled to serve the steady flow of patrons. Perfectly located between Manistique and Munising off the beaten path. Highly recommended for some UP rest and relaxation!

They have atv trails that can be used and also serve breakfast at their bar on site. The hosts were super friendly and loved meeting new people from all over.
