Open on Mondays, just in time for me to make my first visit!! Was NOT disappointed. The food and coffee were worth a 5-star review on their own, but don't skip asking your barista about their mission--just another worthy reason for your patronage!

This was a great find and I'll definitely return. Had the Southwest sandwich with chicken which was delicious and the iced tea was very good also.

This is a great little place! That smoked egg sandwich is amazing. And the chocolate chip cookie was very good. Can't wait to go try the coconut cake...

I had a lavender latte, which was good...but what really made this a 5 Star place was the amazing breakfast sandwich! I’m not usually “a bread person”. I mean, I like bread, but it’s not usually a passionate affair. However, this bread was amazing! The simplicity of the soft boiled egg and the cheese highlighted quality over flash. It was sooo good! I don’t live in the area, but I will be back on my next business trip.

I stopped by Living Room today for my first coffee... ever. Friendly staff chose an iced coffee for me. I was told that it would keep me awake for a while. This is probably correct.

Nice people good coffee. Good bread! The round loaves remind me of the Liturgical bread used in the Orthodox Church. Try serving Greek Coffee ( aka Lebanese coffee or Turkish coffee) All you need to acquire is some small coffee pots. You could make money from this. Good Luck! Happy 2015! IC XC NI KA

I can't say enough good things about this place. I've tried a few different food and coffee items and they're delicious every single time. It's a cozy spot with lots of space, indoor/outdoor seating, and a great ambiance. Great place to work, or meet a friend for a while. One of my favorite parts is how much natural lighting they have, it's lined in windows and makes for such a good vibe.

I had a simple medium boiled egg and 3 strips of bacon. Bacon Was perfect crispness and egg peppered. Best part, they do pour over coffee including a decaf. They had 3 different regions and I tried the Java. The flavor was very good. My only wish, that the water was hotter (I’m weird and prefer the water to practically burn my mouth!) And the location and setting are awesome. If I could just order this perfect weather every time!

This is quite possibly the best coffee shop in Saint Louis! You MUST TRY the Latte Maria (cinnamon and orange). They make their syrups in house, so definitely check the seasonal lattes. They have great food - my go to is a unique take on an eggs Benedict. It’s a little messy, but so so worth it. I would also recommend their pastries.

This was my first time at Living Room. VERY allergy friendly!! I have a lot of restrictions and I truly appreciate the person behind the counter asking the kitchen staff when they did not know the answer. I was grateful the staff member didn’t guess or pretend to know. This space is incredibly inclusive and has great vibes! I’ll be back!!

I love coming here. The food and coffee is always perfect. Staff is very friendly. Even if there is a line it usually moves pretty quickly. Bitt’s cold brew and the cheesy scone is my go to.

Their freshly made bread and coffee never disappoint me. My dog also likes to stop by and say hi. They have water bowls and outdoor seating, so my dog can hang while we eat.

Living Room ticks a lot of the boxes for me! They have a bright dining environment with optional outdoor seating, multiple beverage options, fresh baked pastries, and an amazing menu of fresh dishes that offer both vegetarian and vegan options. We went in for brunch and we’re very well taken care of. We selected the Smoked Beet Rueben, Jay’s Wrap and an orange and black pepper shortbread cookie to split. The beet Rueben was perfectly sized sandwich and it was made really well. Their Rueben wasn’t oily like most of the other beet ruebens I’ve had. I highly recommend stopping by and showing them some love.

This is the best coffee shop in all of St. Louis! The food is always delicious, the coffee remarkable in aroma, body and flavor, and the ambiance friendly and laid-back. We usually get take away for the weekend, but sipping a nice cup of Joe there is always a treat. If this isn’t enough to convince you to go, then hear this, my coffee loving friend: the employees are amazing! They are kind, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your time there, even if you just pop in for a take away. Even your coffee or bag will be decorated with your name and something positive on it! Seriously. If you’re having a bad day, all you have to do is step into The Living Room and your day starts getting better! We highly recommend the Workday breakfast sandwich and the Latte Maria. ALL are welcome here. Sip, sip, hooray!

A super cute coffee shop with lots of seating! I enjoyed my iced vanilla latte and the honey peanut butter toast with bacon. I also got a peanut butter cookie to-go and wow, that was so delicious! It had a sweet but salty taste!

This is an enjoyable spot for brunch, especially on a sunny day! The food is delicious and service is pretty quick, even when they are busy. There is, however, pretty in-your-face political messaging everywhere (tons of pride progress flags, pro-transgender posters and stickers), so if you find that offensive, you may want to choose somewhere else to eat.

I dream about the Workday Sandwich with veggie sausage. Living room is a great spot to grab a quick breakfast or coffee, spend some time studying, or catch up with a friend. It is light and airy on the inside with ample space to spread out. When the weather is nice, there is tons of patio seating available as well. This is my favorite St. Louis coffee shop. Staff is friendly and the quality of the food and bev is consistently very good.

Cozy community feel and a great place to try after doing yoga next door at Urban Breath! I always think yoga and cute coffee shops are a perfect combination. I love all the natural lighting, the ample free parking, and the signature drinks. The Latte Maria is really yummy! I wish they allowed laptops on weekend mornings because it’s a really nice space to work, but they do get quite busy midday!

Just discovered this cafe not too far from my house. I go here to do graduate work and I find the atmosphere to be so lovely. The place is bright with a lot of seats. But The customer service is what stands out. Everyone I’ve met so far has been kind and pleasant. One thing that may be improved is the food options. I’d love to see more choices on the menu but everything I’ve had so far has been quite good.

Neat place with indoor and outdoor seating, good menu, and fun selection of beverages. Hoppin' with customers on Saturday morning! Leave yourself plenty of time to stand in line to order, but it's worth the wait. The space has tons of natural light and is very inviting. Enjoyed a classic Toast & Egg (perfectly soft boiled) and a Sproda (espresso and root beer), both delicious!

I have been a fan of Living Room for years, but am just now taking the time to give them the glowing Google review they deserve! Living Room recently expanded into what used to be Bolyard’s (which just moved up the street), and there is much more ample seating for customers. If dining in, be sure to have a copy of your vaccination card, and Living Room will find a table/seating for you upon ordering. I love that Living Room is a safe, inclusive space for anyone ❤️ Favorite Things: • The Staff! They are all awesome and accommodating! • Workday Sandwich with veggie sausage • Tea Lattes with local Big Heart teas • They make their own syrups! • They make their own baguettes! • Oat milk ISN’T an additional charge, which is amazing! • Their Cheesy Scone with salt and pepper 🤤 Thanks so much for all your amazing work, Living Room!

The Living Room is a place where I don't visit that often but whenever I do it's always a pleasant experience. Tucked away in Maplewood, The Living Room provides a wonderful spot to work, eat and get a wonderful cup of coffee. While you wait you could grab a book or knit which is one of my favorite things to do. Service is also on point and it is always nice striking up a conversation with those that work there. A A couple of highlights of the food I've experienced: Coffee: the Latte Maria is amazing. The flavors of orange and cinnamon really pull through Food: the homemade bagels with homemade cream cheese and the parfaits is delicious. Getting honey with the parfait adds the nice added touch if you like sweetness. Lastly, the one thing that I really enjoy about the Living Room is the sign that is by the store that says "All are Welcome". I've noticed that some employees there have disabilities and it really warms my heart as someone who has a sibling with a disability knowing that there are places willing to give everyone the chance to work. Thank you for being awesome
