Barnacle is quintessential Marblehead. It's a salty spot with excellent food and fabulous wait staff. The owner takes a lot of pride in his food , staff and drink, you will not be disappointed! Don't miss Wednesday night 2 lobsters for the price of one. Owner catches the lobsters for his guests! Go! Get a seat outside and gaze out on the harbor.

I can't believe I live ten miles away and had never been until yesterday. Well it was my Mothers Birthday and that's where she wanted to go. Holy Hell it was delicious , our server was awesome, and the view was beautiful on a typical New England rainy day.

Love the bisque, steamers, lobster roll and a beer(s). None are the best around, but collectively with the location and atmosphere it’s always a great time.

Grew up in Mass and the Cape. The Barnacle is my new FAV place. Great, friendly staff, incomparable view, and the first time in my life I've been served more full belly clams than I could possibly eat. Nice small place, no "chain" feeling. I will certainly be back whenever I can.

Best seafood ever and I am a very picky seafood snob! The fish is always fresh and the scallops are out of this world! Plus you can't beat the ocean view and friendly staff.

Went there for dinner. My wife and I are in the area for a little while. I had the fish and chips. It was a great place to sit and eat and enjoy a view of the harbor.

Two words come to mind: cozy and fresh! Great location that's small and cozy with spectacular views. The food was fresh and delicious! Two thumbs up for the Barnacle!

Sea food at its freshest. Love the place! The clams were perfect, and the onion rings, up there with the best around.

Excellent seafood and yesterday’s high winds and surf after storm Riley made for unbelievable entertainment. Best place to be for a down home meal.

Loved! Loved the bartender. Great food. Family owned since the 50's. Place was full of regulars that love the town. I really enjoyed myself. Parking is tough.

Aptly named small restaurant clinging to the rocks overlooking the water in Marblehead. Great view, comfy ambience. We had fish which was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Indoor and outdoor seating. We were inside and had a couple of onlookers!

The Barnacle is a great off the beaten path place with limited free parking on a lovely bay. Impromptu decision to stop, hoping to sit at the bar but it was packed with jovial folks. We were seated in the back of the restaurant on a counter that had a killer view even with the rain. Our server was spectacular & the food was delicious, plentiful & reasonably priced. It was a highlight of our trip, we could have sat for hours.
