In most ways it’s your typical shopping center Chinese food restaurant. The interior is surprisingly sparse. For some reason there is still a decorated Christmas tree standing inside the entrance. You see packaging and supplies stacked in various places. There are poorly, hand written or printed signs hanging near the cash register. Our server was polite, but it took a long time to get our food. Basically, just a really sad and unappealing place to eat…….. BUT the food was pretty darn good! We ordered the General Tso’s combination and a Sesame Chicken combination. The portions were big and the food was hot. So, if you like to get your orders “To Go” or if decor and atmosphere aren’t important to you, give this place a try!
I kinda want to give 5 stars for effort, but I never checked restrooms and a very nice kitchen staff person was smoking at the entry-

The thing I really liked was that we had control over how much salt and sauce we wanted on our food. The curry was fresh. The hot mustard was fresh. The service was fast and hot.
Our server had a very thick accent but was a very good communicator. She made eye contact and enunciated each syllable..my family is somewhat hard of hearing and visually impaired and this was a big plus. The restaurant was well lit, with easy parking. The Christmas tree and snow flakes are still decorating the entry, and we were a little worried, but it was a great experience. My brother is slow eating and struggles to speak and staff was very patient and kind to him. We will return!
Disclaimer: I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food, but trying to get out of my comfort zone. I will say, this place has the most friendliest people. Each person was cheerful and happy. The food was nice and fresh. Everyone else raved about the food, so I imagine that it was super delicious. I tried steamed dumplings, and I am not a fan... But if you love dumplings, check this place out, you may love them! The prices and portion sizes wasn't too bad.
I want to preface this review by saying I'm from London UK, so bear that in mind regarding my comments on portion sizes.
My friend took me here for dinner and the food was very tasty, you can tell they use a lot of fresh ingredients and the food is naturally flavourful without being overly salty or sweet.
The staff were polite and professional. They don't use MSG (although I don't personally have an issue with MSG) so some people who are used to MSG in their Chinese food might feel like something is "missing" but to me the food was delicious and 'clean-tasting' if you know what I mean.
The rice came in a bowl that is essentially the size of a medium mixing bowl where I come from and the dish of shrimp and cashews was GINORMOUS! However this is not my first time in USA so I'm prepared for huge portions and it's excellent value for money for me. I'm going to enjoy my leftovers immensely.
9/10 Highly recommend.

I love ordering from them through Beyond Menu. The delivery price isn’t bad at all. I love having a cute local Chinese food place near me. Their food is good but it’s not exceptional. I will still always order from them though. I probably have them twice a month or so! Their prices are amazing. I love their combos! So good. Eating here is quiet. I’ve only done it about twice. I mostly always get take out or delivery. Love them!

Been ordering at this place since 2019. I’ve sampled many of the entrees, appetizers and Chef’s Specialties and quite a few are keepers.
The Singapore Noodles, beef w/broccoli, curry chicken (and beef), the House Special egg foo young, beef w/mushrooms, House Special lo mein & chow mei fun are all great choices.
Appetizer winners include the steamed dumplings and they have the tastiest chicken wings in Maricopa, which surprised me. The egg rolls used to be awesome, but they started making them smaller recently and they’re just not the same.
The egg flower and wor wonton soup are consistently excellent.
This establishment would’ve received five stars, except for two things:
1)Delivery items are often tossed in bags rather haphazardly, which has resulted in quite the mess on several occasions, and,
2) when you post on your website that you’re open until 9:30 pm and I try to place an order at 8:15 on BeyondMenu, and I get a response that you’re “closed,” it hurts your business (and your rating).
It makes matters worse when I try to call in a few minutes later (maybe 8:20 pm-still well before closing time) and I get an unintelligible voice mail stating (I think) “leave a message,” while you’re supposed to be open.
In any case the freshness and quality of the food outweighs the aforesaid challenges and I hope management will address these things to make the overall experience a good one.
Our first few visits here were not very good, but we continue to give another chance. Today we were very surprised. First, the Hot and Sour Soup, there has been only 1 other restaurant that makes it to our satisfaction. Now we can add this place to the list. It was very good.
Second, our food has been made very starchy. Today it was not. It was perfectly made. We did order a large soup and it did look small. The rest of the food was good and filling.
I've eaten here many times & every time the food is excellent! They are also humble & kind. It's clean Chinese food so not all greasy & msg tasting.
Not complaining but a suggestion for the water. Maybe a filtration system for us non-soda drinkers.
This is an enjoyable small business that creates amazing dishes. Every time I visit this restaurant the food knocks my socks off along with the portions always being large enough to fill you up and still having enough for a take-home box.

We have lived in Maricopa for almost 2 years but just went to Li's Garden Chinese food restaurant (in Basha strip mall) for the first time tonight. Didn't realize what a great place we had been missing out on! We were seated immediately and our server immediately came over to help us..(actually 2 servers). They were friendly patient and helpful in answering all our questions about different dishes. The food came out fast and was hot, fresh and delicious with very generous portions! It was not your typical all fried Chinese food. I had the mushroom chicken dish in a yummy sauce with carrots.and snowpeas and juicy delicious mushrooms. The chicken was tender thin slices, very moist and large amounts..it was cooked just perfectly!...the best I have ever had..seriously! And as my husband will tell you..I am hard to please lol. I am not sure what he ordered ..some kind of a noodle dish with big shrimp..sorry I was too obsessed with inhaling my own food lol..but he loved it and took half home because portion was so large. The restaurant was spotless clean and nice atmosphere. (Our only issue was the AC could have been a little cooler..but it was sweltering outside with record breaking temps. I recommend u sit at tables under overhead fans instead of in booths)
We agreed..we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! Thank you Li's for your hospitality and a great dining experience!
The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and kind, they took the time too explain the menu and what substitutions you were able too do for certain items, the food was extremely hot still by the time we got home nothing was cold, everything was delicious. It’s very clean inside and welcoming.
