The best "abeetz" I've had outside of New Haven!
Tried the chicken, bacon, and spinach pie and it was gone in about 3 minutes. Also ordered a large calzone. The best calzone filing I've ever had.
Obviously, a lot of love goes into the food here!

Grabbed a large cheese for lunch yesterday, was piping hot and fantastic. A sweet sauce, delicious mozzarella, and thin crust combined for an excellent pizza. Larges normally are eaten for lunch over a few days in our house, but this pizza was gone in 20 minutes! New Haven quality pizza has arrived in Southington!
The owners and staff here are amazing and go above and beyond for their customers ...their food is amAzing hands down...i went in tonight had ordered a large pepperoni and a small cheese the owner felt that the small was too small and as i was about to walk out the door stoped me called me by name and had made another small cheese pizza because he felt the other one was t up to their standards which it was ...i was blown away by their care for wanting to make sure their product is right and that the customer is happy besides the amazing customer service the food is great you will not be disappointed
You will NOT be disappointed. The pizza, with its thin crust was amazing. The eggplant grinder was toasted to perfection. And, there are no words to describe the calzone. The filling is the creamiest, cheesiest goodness...you just HAVE to experience it for yourself!!

I had their pizza for lunch today, so deliciously cheesy with an amazing crust!! I am looking forward to my next meal from them!

Excellent New Haven style pizza! I've eaten at Sally's, Pepe's, Modern and many others, but South Town offers a great tasting pizza that rivals the best of New Haven. It has a thin chewy crust with the right amount of "char", tangy sauce and a delicious portion of mozzarella. This is the only place in Southington, where you can get the original New Haven taste and style without the long wait and hoopla.
Apizza as good as any you'll find in all the New Haven landmarks. Great crust with that perfect mix of char and chew. Being take-out only allows the crew to focus on the food and that's fine by me. This pizza is good. Can't wait to try other things on their menu. The young ladies running check-out are always kind and greet you with a smile. You need to check this place out!
The angry pepperoni pizza is off the charts! The Jersey shore fries are also probably my favorite french fries that I have had. They are bigger than shoe string fries but smaller than your typical steak fries and are seasoned perfectly.
Best chicken bacon ranch I’ve ever had! Pizza was loaded with bacon and chicken 🥓 Meatball calzone and plain cheese were also good! Nice workers there, I did a few DoorDash orders there and we finally tried it. I would recommend for sure if you like thin pizza! 🍕

Def very crispy pizza, but I like it that way! I only wish that it wasn't so pricey for a whole pizza, and that slices were available in more than pepperoni and cheese.
Great New Haven style pizza. Sauce and dough take the pizza to the next level for me.

I am very picky about my pizza, right down to the sauce. Ive exhausted all places in my immediate vicinity searching for a pizza I actually like. My dad suggested I try the pizza shop down the street from my grandmother's and I have to say South Town Apizza has exactly the taste that I have been craving. It might not be for everyone but my god I took a single bite and knew that my search was over. Excellent sauce recipe, flavor on point. Gotta love it.
Yummy! We ordered from here for the 1st time last night and we will be back again and again! We ordered about 7 different items and every item we tasted was delicious! It is clear they take pride in what they serve and how they serve it. We understood why the line was out the door when we were picking our food up! First and foremost, let me say that South Town Apizza is DELICIOUS!!! Expertly crafted, interesting varieties and the BEST in the Area hands down. But, on another note, I just have to comment about their Absolute PROFESSIONALISM. I had one of their pizzas delivered while I was working at home, which I quite often do on weekends. This time, Door Dash delivered a pizza where all the cheese and toppings completely slid off of one side of the pizza to the other as well as in the inner side of the box. I let Door Dash know via the app and just received a $3 coupon in response along with a generic message that they would speak with the establishment. Knowing that the issue was the delivery person & NOT South Town, I called South Town to give them a heads up and bring them up to speed on the situation. Long story short, South Town Pizza replaces the poorly delivered, mangled pizza with a brand new one for FREE... I just had to pick it up to guarantee it arriving to me in one piece. When I went by the shop and spoke with the owners, they were profusely apologetic and extremely friendly and had the new pizza in my hand ASAP. How GREAT is that!!! All I have to say, is simply this... not only is South Town Apizza the BEST Pizza in the area, but they are the utmost Professionals... and in this day and age, it is nice to know that they are GREAT Folks, as well! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the BEST, most DELICIOUS pizza around! 👍
Best local pizza by far so I'll get a little me in depth with my thoughts . Very thin new Haven style with room to get even better. The tomatoes are high quality, personally I like a little more on a red pie. Cheese is well ratioed but may benefit from some more flavorful and stretchier varieties. Toppings are great but seem to lack caramelization in the oven. Last but not least, the crust. This is a delicate, new Haven crust, but it needs some identity to take it to the next level. I would love either more chew and a touch more salt in the dough, pizza is lacking the signature air pockets from a high gluten high temp cook. Or you can embrace the crunch and try to develop even more crunch/crispiness. I may sound critical but if I'm gonna order this twice a month(which I am) I know the sky is the limit here.

This place is top notch. They have great pizza but its the grinders that keep me coming back. I am in love with the Turkey BLT. Also the cookies by the cashier are really good to. Long story short these guys are great.
