The cheese burgers are the best in town. I have tried 27 other burgers in the UP and this is definitely in the top 3. The fries are good as well. The atmosphere is that of any local neighborhood bar. A must stop for the best burger Marquette has to offer !
We were in the mood for a great bar burger and that is just what we found! Friendly service, cold beer and a perfectly cooked burger. The owner also showed us the coolest photos from before the 50's when the bar didn't even have indoor plumbing! We will be back.
A fun very local bar with really good burgers and homemade fries. Good selection of beers and two kinds of white wine. Customers are very active in local hockey and pool tournaments.

This place is an institution. I almost feel like a Google review is betraying some unspoken rule. Don't come in here all touristy with a gaggle of kids and bull*hit. Don't curse either.
If what you are looking for is a solid bar burger and fries this is the only place to be. It's exactly everything you want and expect a classic bar burger to be. The fries are delish and the chili was good too. Go somewhere else if you want fluff and what not come here to grab a beer and burger that doesn't complicate or disappoint.

Mike cooks a great burger and the fresh cut fries were the best I've had in awhile. Cold 51K at a reasonable price makes a good stop. Nothing fancy, just an old time neighborhood bar.

This is a really fun dive bar across from a few hotels. The staff is very kind & the burgers are delicious! Cash only, so be warned.
Dear Pat, WHAT IS THIS?? I walked into this fine establishment hoping to find my dearest wife. WHERE IS SHE? I was looking at her phone when I saw a text message from "Pat's Bar" that said come meet me tonight. As I placed my right foot to enter the establishment, I noticed a woman who I had been very fond of in my younger years. Ahhhh the good ol days when I was able to weight lift 901 lbs. I was a monster beast! Anyways, enough about me... This woman's name is Sheila. I had never seen such a woman like her, I used to take her out to presque Isle to serenade her. We would sneak out after school to go cuddle and talk about our futures together in a hammock we'd hang on the pine trees. The way her hair would curl at the ends, the way her nose would crinkle with every laugh. I miss her.
Went in for a burger and a beer was not disappointed. The place is immaculate (could literally smell the clean smell when you walked in) and the folks were all friendly.
