The owner is a lot of fun, had us laughing most of the way through. Really enjoyed the savory lunch offerings accompanied by an excellent salad. Of the pastries the plum tart was my favorite, it was delicious. Cheesecake and chocolate whipped cream cake were excellent as well. Highly recommend stopping not just for the sweets but for lunch with dessert to follow

This marvelous little gem is worth the detour off of 91 North or South. A European touch of old world class and charm. I had the amazing empanada with Greek salad. Did I mention the pastries? My third visit. I am going back for a Lemon Poppy Seed cake to share with friends. Try anything.....you really can't miss.

I have driven four hours for the sole purpose of visiting this bakery. The proprietor makes the experience feel like a visit with your favorite uncle, and his witticisms keep you laughing the whole time. The empanadas are an absolute must-have, I have never had better in my life. The stuffed brioche is a one-of-a-kind experience, filled with incredible cheese and spinach. The "Johnny Depps on a plate" (profiteroles with fresh whipped cream) are deservedly the headliner dessert, and no meal at Rainbow Sweets is complete without them (and I mean a meal, 3 courses minimum). I have tried at least 4 of the specialty pastries, and every single one has been incredible. From chocolate cake to fruit tarts to poppy seed cake and cheesecake, everything is uniquely delicious. The food is absolutely worth every penny, and the atmosphere of the bakery is homey, warm, and eclectic. Every wall has photos and posters to observe, and the music playing helps set the tone. Overall, a visit here feels like a visit to an alternate pastry dimension where everything is delicious.

Small 6 table cafe with outstanding pastries and desserts as well as delicious, home cooked foods. Everything baked, nothing fried or anything like that. Had delicious spanakopita and baklava. The owner is incredible, personable, and quirky. A must visit hole in the wall.

Excellent appetizers. I had the empanada with a Greek salad. The empanada was about 6" by 3" with a wonderful flaky crust. The Greek salad was excellent with plenty of olives. It was plenty enough for a meal. What is jokingly addressed as the main course is the wonderful selection of cakes tarts and other pastries that just melt in your mouth.
