I used to live in Texas. My beau has been to Mexico several times. We both LOVE this place!! Wonderful food!! It has the right amount of kick with flavor.
Good food, reasonable prices. Seems to be more drink oriented than food, but come for the food. Chicken fajitas were excellent, burritos were good but nothing special. A fun place with nice outdoor patio for meeting friends.
I absolutely love the California heat tacos! They have a wonderful selection of menu items, and a decent drink menu. The staff is friendly and the environment and atmosphere is up beat and busy. I come here almost every other week. My wife and I have at least one place we can agree to eat at.
Love their tempura fish tacos! For $3 you can't beat 'em. There's many different options for a really reasonable price. It's a very laid back, casual atmosphere. Full bar. Fun place to eat.
I had the Tamale Plate with Mix-Mex Fried Rice & Refried Beans... The tamales were thin and the chile tasted right out of the can, the fried rice and Refried beans were ok. My wife had the Grilled Fish Tacos which she really enjoyed. The reason I would recommend Fuzzy's is the drink menu. We tried the Beer- I had one the was called The Shocker(something about the name, it had to be good, And it was!!!) My wife had one called Morning Glory (she just about downed it) 3/4 though it she said she couldn't feel her nose. Overall I gave a 4.0 because it really is a fun place and we had a very good time just hanging out.
The quesadillas were great and I would go again. Most greatly the service was a triple a rating. The best thing about the restaurant was the food and the people especially the manager who was on duty the entire time. They are even children friendly especially when it comes to teenagers. Even though we were there at a busy time we still got great service.
This was my first visit, and my first impression was that the restaurant has a pretty cool interior design and very affordable food prices.
The food is okay and staff are accommodating. This isn’t a nice place if you want a quiet dinner though. They have a bar inside and the chattering are loud during the weekends and evenings. Lunchtime is a lot quieter. First time i went here, we had lunch and we stayed outside. They have chairs out in the front facing the streets of Westport Plaza but it’s not good during the winter. It’s perfect during the summertime though. Their fish tacos are awesome but they’re small so you may have to order more. Parking is sufficient. Go stop by and have some fish tacos and beer!
Fuzzy's is a neat place. Eclectic decor and a charming irreverence lend to a comfortable, casual dining experience. I had the spicy pork nachos. They were good, but I wish I'd have known the toppings costed extra. I'd never been before, so I didn't know to grab my own cup or that I picked up my own food at a window in the back of the restaurant, but I went with people who did. Overall, it's not somewhere I'd go by myself, but with friends, why not? It wasn't so loud that you can't chat and even though it was Saturday night, we found seats.
How this place works is, you order at the register and then they prepare your food. Good food at a good price. I would say the only thing is, their drinks were good, but didn't really taste much liqour.
This place is awesome! The ordering set up was a little different but once we figured that out everything else went smooth. I ordered fajita chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, beef tacos, sopadilla, churros, and strawberry margaritas. The food was so good that we ordered another round. This was never part of the plan. We're from out of town and we wanted to enjoy this one more time! It's that good.
The food was great! I had a ground beef burrito and a huge drink with champagne in it. It was outstanding! Only complaint is it is super loud music playing indoors and it was too cold to sit outside. I would recommend this spot to all of my friends.
This taco shop is really good. Our steak was so tender and flavorful. I wish North Carolina had one. Hands down, good cheap tacos.
This was my first time coming. I must say it was an amazing experience. Food was great and the drink I had was the Fuzzy Berries and it Gave me what I needed. I had the Grilled shrimp burrito and it was made perfectly. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get. I’ll be back very soon .
Came here on Taco Tuesday and almost all the tacos (minus the specialty ones) were only $1.50 each! The margarita was tasty and well priced for the size. The shrimp and brisket tacos were probably my favorite ones. I was surprised the rice was served cold, and wished with so many tacos on my order that they would have been marked which is which... other than that, it is a nice little spot with a laid back atmosphere and friendly staff.
As always fuzzy tacos is top notch, and this one did not disappoint.. No complaints, even though it was mid 80s the shaded outside seating was very pleasant, with decent breeze whipping around the buildings.
Ordered taco plate. 1 taco was brisket totally awesome. The 2nd was fajita beef. It was terrible. It was dry tough and vvccc tasteless. Wife had taco plate 1st was shredded chicken was really good. 2nd was fajita chicken. It was dry and tasteless.
Ordered take out. Picked it up after the cashier bagged it. Stopped at Panera to get a sandwich for my vegetarian daughter then went back to hotel to have dinner. Opened it up and they had left out one complete meal. Tried calling 15 minutes to closing and nobody answered. Drove back over there at 5 til and told them and showed my recipe. Guy came out from kitchen saying he made it. I'm like it didn't get put in the bag and I didn't bag it myself. The cashier person did. They finally made another one. Lesson learned: check your order before you leave the restaurant. The food was delicious.
Margaritas are the best part. Outdoor dining is nice on a nice day. Foods alright. Their queso could be better.
I went here with a friend because we really liked the prices and the menu online! I ordered the California Heat taco with a shredded chicken taco and a side of cilantro lime rice. My friend ordered the shredded brisket quesadilla! We started to dig into our food and were very pleased! My friend said it was one of the best quesadillas she's ever had! I loved my California Heat taco! My shredded chicken taco was okay... the chicken was SO dry that I just took it off the taco. My cilantro lime rice was tasty, though! It reminded me of Chipotle's rice that I love. The cashier was nice and friendly and our food came out really fast! We decided to eat outside because it was quite cold in the restaurant. There was a large party outside that were a little rowdy, but I was able to ignore them. Overall, it was a good experience. I would order the California Heat taco again!
