Mission BBQ always comes through, no matter what location around the country I visit. Consistency! My visit here was during a busy weekday lunch but my order was taken quickly and almost immediately served. Fresh cut fries and that delicious sweet tea are always a hit!
This place serves up all the smoked meat essentials and BBQ staple side dishes. From the meats I've tried: the half chicken was super tender, falling off the bone, had pretty good flavor, and could stand alone. A few parts of the chicken were under-cooked, unfortunately. The salmon was very tender and also had really good, stand-alone flavor. For sides: the baked beans and slaw were both quite good, zero complaints. The cornbread was a little dried out both times I had it, but decent nonetheless. The seasonal sweet potato mash was excellent -- that added crunch on top gave apple pie vibes and was unlike any sweet potatoes I've had before. They have 6ish different BBQ sauces that cover different regions. Texas twang is the only one I've tried, and it was an excellent, not too sweet, slightly spicy sauce that could pair well with any smoked meat. They have lightning fast online order prep great, service, and pretty decent portions for price. Give Mission BBQ a try; you might love em.
This was my first experience at Mission BBQ and I wish I had one where I live!! I'm used to City BBQ in the Columbus area and have always enjoyed it, but this was WAY better! I ordered the same thing I would at CBBQ to get a fair judgement, and everything was at least a level better. The mac and cheese was amazing, and all 6 sauces on the table were great! I couldn't pick one so i just kept alternating per bite. I'd say the only downfall is it's a bit pricey ($38 for 2 ppl) but food was still 10/10
Exceptional food, friendly service. Pulled chicken sandwich was tasty and moist. Baked beans were creamy and yummy. Ron, one of the table staff members, was so kind and attentive, and had some amazing stories from his time serving our nation. The homage to America and her brave heroes is palpable in this restaurant, accompanying the food with patriotic spice. A must-go kind of place.
I had Mission BBQ delivered for my wedding. There was only one person who came with the delivery of food for up to 50 guest. We were on a time crunch so I had some of my family and friends help her to set up. Other than that the food was awesome! We had very little left after the reception. Definitely recommend their services.
Well-earned 5 stars in all parts, very rare that I scored a place like this, but I was blown away with the quality of food, and the place was extremely clean and felt like homestyle cooking. The staff was nothing short from awesome and very helpful, they was in a positive mood and helped us when our child made a mess by mistake. This place is just above average on service and quality! It's a little pricey, but the food isn't cheap to make, so it's a win, win in my book, they do the best they can. If you're near here, do yourself a favor and just go here and try it. I promise you that you will not be disappointed.
Great first experience at this restaurant. This was my first time and the employee told me all the things, no microwaves, no freezer. Everything is fresh. He was very enthusiastic and helpful!
When we sat to eat, they have a older gentleman, who wears a mission shirt and on the sleeve was an american flag that said veteran. He was super sweet!
-I ordered the pulled chicken, it came with a piece of cornbread, and I got a side of mac n cheese
-my boyfriend for the 3pc sampler, smoked turkey, brisket and pork
He got the collard greens as the side.
We both very much enjoyed the food and the service. Will be back next time when we are in the area. They also give nice discounts to service people, police, military etc.
Wayyyy better than dickies in my opinion
Mission BBQ catered our wedding last week and we are absolutely thrilled with how everything went. All the staff were kind, professional and treated our guests well. Their buffet setup was beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious! They even helped set up our charcuterie board and dessert table that was not part of Mission’s food! They also honored us by bringing their military vehicle “BAM BAM” which was a huge hit for our guests and family! From the start, they impressed us with their tasting presentation and professionalism. We highly recommend Mission BBQ for your wedding catering (and a special thanks to the catering specialists Ashley and Emma!).
First time here to this particular location this is my go too for a chain BBQ restaurant was in the area decided to try the this location out wonderful staff very friendly helpful food was very delicious always on point every location I visited the steak was a first for me very good excellent price for what you get my only complaint was there was no cutlery for cutting the steak overall definitely recommend trying this place out you won't be disappointed.
Amazing and delicious are the words to describe the food at Mission BBQ! The memorabilia honoring those who served and are currently serving our country including first responders is inspiring and makes one feel patriotic and grateful. The customer service is excellent.
The brisket sandwich was tender and delicious. The baby back ribs were fall of the bone perfection. Great even without sauce. The sauces…6 different ones to try! My favorite was the Bay-B-Que. The smoked meatloaf was the best I’ve ever eaten. The macaroni & cheese and greens rivaled Mimi’s and Memaw’s - fantastic! Definitely try the baked beans and tea.
The brisket is amazing. Ribs were great. Sides were great. Did not leave hungry.
Paul, I guess he's kind of greeter, bus boy and all around make people feel welcome guy, is a great person to talk to. He does an awesome job.(He's also chaplain at the USO at the airport)
Mission BBQ catered our wedding, and we were incredibly pleased with their service. The food was fantastic, their staff were very professional and helpful and everyone at our wedding raved about how great the food was.
We could not be happier with their service, and we would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs catering in the future.

We used Mission BBQ in Mason, Ohio to cater our wedding. Emma was our planner we met with and she was extremely helpful with any of the details for food. The tasting was massive and we took anything left over home from the tasting and the wedding. The food and workers were a delight and I would gladly and recommend them for anything for catering and service. Thank you very much for a great experience! We had cheesy potatoes, green beans with bacon, cornbread, dinner rolls, smoked turkey, brisket, and smoked shrimp at our wedding. Everything was delicious and the right price!
Really good barbecue! The brisket is delicious. My wife likes it lean and I don’t - they make us both happy. The salmon is also one of my favorites (I eat it with the white bbq sauce). I’ve started to get the seasonal special pretty often. The meatloaf is so good I wish they would add it to the menu. I usually get mac & cheese or the green beans - really good. Service has always been good and the people are all friendly. I like the way they support the military - check out all the pictures on the walls - very cool. Keep it up Mission BBQ!
While traveling, we stopped in. We love this chain, but we don't often get to visit since they are not on every corner. It was about 3 p.m. on a Sunday and there was a line which impressed me. The staff got everyone in and out quickly. The food was delicious. Dining room staff was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend stopping in when you're in the area.
Great brisket and service! Staff was more than helpful and I appreciate them going the extra mile to take care of their customers. Prices were very reasonable compared to the quality of the food.
Will definitely be visiting again and I now will have a place to visit when I travel to Naples FL!!

Had read great reviews on Google and am staying in the area for a few days so I thought I would try it out. Went later on a Sunday and it wasn't that busy. Employee taking my order was friendly and said the fries would be a good choice. I ended up with 3, yes 3, sides. I also got both the brisket and pulled pork. Theming of restaurant towards our military and first responders is pretty cool. The portion sizes of meat aren't huge. The brisket was super moist with good flavor, but is oak smoked. I prefer mesquite myself. It was still better than most brisket that I've had. Pulled pork was good, but I had several ends that were very dry. The Collards were good and mac n cheese good, but runny. The seasoned fries were excellent. They were freshly cooked and held up over the course of the meal. They have 6 sauces. They were all really good. It's hard to find BBQ where the meat, the sides and the sauces are above average. Mission does a good job with all three. May try it again during lunch and compare. Recommend for sure.
We got take out after a medical appointment. The staff was courteous and kind. Even after the drive back to our motel, the food was warm and the bread wasn’t soggy. It was the best tasting barbecue that I’ve ever had. We got the barbecue shrimp, a pulled pork sandwich, and a meat sampler. Everything was cooked to perfection and had a great taste.
