This place was a great all around experience. The "hostess" showed us a magic trick upon arrival. Drinks, food and service were all top notch. My husband and I were commenting on how we really appreciated the high level of attention to detail and prepandemic food service. Well done East on Main. We will be back.
We had a party for about 50 people. Stephanie, Tony, and their team made a meaningful party special for all who attended. Their communication throughout the planning was always very clear and timely. We arrived to a warm welcome and were taken care of from start to finish by a professional, caring, and fun team. We didn’t hear any complaints from the guests, only joy and gratitude. The East on Main team made it so there were no concerns, only a good time with delicious food and drinks.
I recommend this place for not only dinner but to hold an event. I look forward to the next party at East on Main.

We pass this place all time. Finally decided to come back after having it at a catered event last night. (Which was very good) I was pleasantly surprised that the Italian was good coming from a place that you would expect to be more of a steak house. I had the mozzarella square. Loved the pesto they put on it. I decided to get the mushroom raviolis expecting it to be salty and mushy but it was fabulous! Better then some of the local Italian joints. Perfectly el dente… not salty and love the peas they put in for added texture. The sauce was nice and creamy. I would order it again for sure. The chicken fingers were good although they seem to have a different breading than the catered ones we had at the party last night. The only thing I would change is the French fries. It would be awesome if they could make a fry closer to Hellenic or the old Omally’s. They seemed a little like fast food fries at best but at least the main food was terrific. I would recommend this place to anyone. Lookong forward to coming back tomorrow!
A surprising treat in high quality perfection for this part of town. You might be quick to pass this place and not stop in. The exterior and look of the place may seem like it’s your typical fare of Americana food. Oh no!!! The food is fresh, the chef is amazing and the staff is really great. We will be coming here all the time I’m sure.
I can tell you that the chef of this restaurant deserves a great compliment!!

I’m a truck driver from canada and I pulled over for a small dinner outside on a patio and that was today my best decision.
So if you have the chance to visit this place do not hesitate and walk in.
Backyard Burger was spot on! Loved the char broiled taste. BBQ chicken wings was good...but no celery or carrot sticks were given. Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad was delicious. The sleeper the Arugula Salad with beets,candied walnuts, feta cheese and orange. The dressing had a slight gingery taste which offset the peppery bite if the arugula. Would definitely order again. Picked up food on Friday around 5:45 and place was popping.
I've never been disappointed here. Their onion soup is one of the best I have ever had. The service has always been friendly and capable. I need to visit this place more often; I think I have been missing something.
In the industry and have been to a lot of places... I hope it's only bc it's there off season, I couldn't believe how slow it was. Food was amazing. Service was great. Tvs for sports, dart board, pool table. Normal prices. Nice quite separate restaurant side. It was a diamond rough. Will be back.
I found this place online on the open table app It was the only place that was able to accommodate 12 people, the same day, especially on Mother's day. We were a little skeptical about this place since we never heard of it before. To say that the" EAST ON MAIN RESTAURANT" was great is an understatement. The food was delicious and the customer service was exceptional. We will recommend this restaurant and you should try it for yourself. Thank you "EAST ON MAIN" We will be back

East on Main is one of the best restaurants we've been to in a long time. All of the food was fresh and delicious. I ordered a veggie burger, and it wasn't one of those frozen patties you get sometimes. This was fresh broccoli, peas, carrots, etc. It was delicious! I also had the split pea soup and was not disappointed! For dessert we had apple pie!! Fresh and hot, just out of the oven!! I was stuffed, but still had to squeeze in the pie. We will definitely return for more delicious fresh cooked meals!

Just a nice place to dine with great food, I like the seafood! Ambiance is also great and its a comfortable place to hold your seasonal parties. Try it, the staff is personable too!
Food is ok. Needs new bathrooms desperately! Flounder sandwich very good!! Fries good!! Staff very friendly 😁! I think baked clams need a refresher. They were more like a clams casino.

Had a great lunch there last weekend. The chef there is really talented. Excellent food. Crabcakes and grilled vegetables were awesome.
The best food in mattituck. Great specials, friendly staff, clean environment. They adhere to all COVID regulations and still provide an excellent dining experience. We will be back again and again!
Had the best burger there I've had in years! Fresh!...and the decor and ambiance were a taste of the East End as well :) Staff and service were wonderful...definitely looking forward to going back❣
