Took my mom here for her birthday. They were busy on a Sunday at lunch. We never felt rushed. Seated quickly. Order taken in a reasonable amount of time. My guests enjoyed their food. I personally will never order the super bird � again. Very bland. But overall my service was excellent and it was money � well spent! We will be back!
Warm, great service, and wow those pancakes were wonderful! Mattoon needed a good restaurant and we have it! Whoever thought up those white chocolate/raspberry pancakes was a genius! :D
I went last night to the Grand Opening and we were actually the first ones in the door and seated. The food was great and all the employees were awesome as well. I am definitely going back again and it's really nice to have another place to eat here in Mattoon.
Food was pretty good and very fresh. Had the country fried steak skillet. The restaurant seemed to have a lot of staff but a little bit longer of a wait to order and get food than normal, but hey they are just getting started and are figuring it out. Will be coming back again sometime. I don't think the waiters, etc. are as rude as everyone is letting on.
Our waiter was very polite. We received our order promptly and the food was excellent!
Our server was very nice. It was mid-day and they we're a little under staffed for how busy there were. Most of the food was great. Do not get the egg whites or ask for real eggs. They tasted like sulfur and smelled funky. Our waitress promptly replaced them. Our daughter loved the chocolate pancakes.
The food was great, all the food that i order was cooked on point, they even made sure if the stake was cooked exactly how i wanted it done. Excellent, top notch with chef kiss. But it was almost empty on a sunday afternoon. I've been to many Denny's restaurants, this by far is the fastest service. It usually takes up to 1 hour to get the food on the table. This restaurant is located close to the mall but quite hidden, i guess that's the reason of the lack of visitors. I wish they open 24 hours again.
Wow, what a nice Dennys. Clean, nicely decorated; brings you back when we would travel and stop at Dennys. Food was the best home cooked meal, I've had in a while! Service was so welcoming as well! To sum it up with one word "Awesome"!
Everytime when I visit my mom she always wants to eat at Dennys. When we walk in we are always greeted by the friendly staff. The atmosphere is nice and quiet and always clean when we go in. The waitress gets to us pretty quick and is very tentative. My daughter stays busy with the crayons and coloring paper they give you. Always get the blueberry pancakes as well as my mom and my 5 year old daughter will get the birthday cake pancakes. The food is usually delivered pretty fast and always what we ordered and tastes great! And then when we leave my daughter always likes to get a toy from one of their machines. Overall it is a great family experience when we go and will keep coming back!
Great food. Great prices. Great customer service. The drink machine has a variety of flavorings for your drinks like peach, grape, strawberry, and etc.
Our server was great. Very attentive to our table and many others. Food was okay came out quick and hot.
