This place is always a great place to eat. The Shrimp Dynomite is awesome. We always get the emperor steak and shrimp. Very good food, and excellent service.
I was there for my class reunion and they made us feel pretty darn special! Food was delicious, including those 2 special sauces ! I enjoyed myself and it was evident that my fellow classmates were enjoying themselves too! Then we did Karaoke afterwards -we all had a great time! I will go back!
We always enjoy visiting this location. Sweet staff, especially Nancy. The Miso soup and cucumber salad is the best around. The sushi is so fresh and very tasty! Thank you!
The best time to go is during the Early Bird at 5:30 if you don't want to wait long. The Emperor Steak is soft, juicy, and appetizing along with shrimp. Fried Rice is ono. I usually don't like my veggies but with the ginger sauce, it's delicious. I also like the mustard sauce. Throw it on the rice and eat it.
We enjoyed our experience at Kobe. The service was very good and our waiter took very good care of us while we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Our chef was funny and entertaining.
The food was good, but not as good as similar teppanyaki style places. My steak was over cooked for medium rare and my vegetables were almost exclusively onions. The other vegetables looked good, but alas, I’ll never know. The shrimp was great and made the meal for me. My wife and kids liked their meals well enough but also felt better food and flavors were to be had back home.
Love this place. Fantastic food cooked right before you and served with flair and personality. Make a reservation as they are busy. They managed to squeeze us in on a stormy night, and we felt blessed.
Great hibachi. Chef was entertaining and interactive. Kobe steak special was great. A whole NY strip 12-16 oz so it was a large portion. Flavoring was mediocre though. Garlic fried rice was a bit too much garlic. Bar drinks were strong and good.
Chill vibe in a long running teppan yaki restaurant (over 35 years at the time of this writing).
Chef’s are on the older side and create the chill vibe but don’t expect some of the more energetic teppan tricks, but overall it’s a win with a friendly service.
Gets an extra star for reasonable prices, something rare in this area.
So so so good. Best garlic fried rice I've ever had. Meet was cooked perfectly.
Miso soup was delicious, and sushi was great! The food felt really fresh! not a very diverse menu, but everything we ordered was delicious! I would definitelly recommend the sushi bar here!
Always good for tappanyaki, a family favorite for over 20 years. Nothing fancy just good food for a fair price. Old school atmosphere. Friendly staff and the chefs are sure to entertain with their onion volcano and knife skills.

Food was Great! Presentation was Great! Scotty was our Chef! Delicious!!!
Solid experience! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the chefs grilling up you meal in front of you was fun and entertaining. Beautiful surroundings in Lahaina, take a stroll along Front Street for the experience. (We had reservations but the Sushi bar is 1st come 1st served and may have been even a better experience. Will come back to check it out ourselves 😉)
I find this place to be overpriced, but my other half really likes this place. So we went, surprisingly it was busy even with the whole covid-19 thing. The nice part was when we got there you have to call to confirm your reservations before entering. I was impressed and that's saying a lot. Then as soon as we entered there is a gallon of santizer and a sign asking you to sanitize your hands upon entering. Then as we were seated in the bar area while we were waiting for our table I noticed that they were sanitizing the whole table that they were about to seat us at. I was again very impressed because I really did not want to go out. This was mainly for my girlfriend's sake. Then I noticed that everyone had gloves and mask. Now even with all of these precautions. We still managed to have a good time and our chef was great. The funniest guy that we have gotten yet. The food was ok. It was well cooked I'm just not crazy about the flavors. The steak was cooked perfectly and so we're the veggies. They just lacked in the flavor department. Now the sushi and sashimi that we ordered were great. We had the Hammachi sashimi and the baked california roll. Oh and the scallops were cooked perfectly but the flavors were just not there for me. I would love to this place 5 stars I just don't feel that it's quite there. I know I will definitely be eating there again so maybe next time will be better.
We are visiting from Amarillo Tx. This is not our first visit and won't be the last as we visit Maui every year about this time. 687739 was our order number. We were very satisfied with the experience. We went with family that lives in Maui out to dinner. Made reservations on line for 5:30 and we're seated promptly at table. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She took our order in a timely manner and served our drinks quickly. We ordered several sushi which were fresh and wonderful. Our chef was friendly and put on a great show. We were served large portions of food and except for the steak being cooked a little to well, the food was very good. Our water glasses were filled quickly and we did not need for anything. If you want a great dining experience then give Kobe's a try. Y'all
