Food was on point but the friendly service was exceptional - feels like a family 'n friends run restaurant. Portion sizes reflect the prices, definitely felt stuffed and satisfied once done. This was one of our first Hawaiian food experiences and was not disappointed. Beef and pork ordered were cooked and seasoned very well.

Love this place they’ve grown since I last visited them. The menu is the same but the price has changed and gone up a bit. The staff are still friendly and attentive. The food is always delicious I really love their shoyu poke and kimchi fried rice. The servers will tell you the level of spiciness their food are. You must must try their dessert, they only have two but they’re sweet and delish! There are lots of seating but the food takes a while to get to you but worth the wait.

We wanted to try Hawaiian food so drove from Lahaina. Totally worth it. We had Hawaiian plate and squid lulau. They ask you to order at the counter and seat you. Great service and great food. They are definitely serious about safe dining experience and used disposable plates and utensils.

Definitely a place to go for local food. The Hawaiian plate was well worth the price. Most people split one and just ordered other items, it’s that much food. The Kalbi was soft and tasty. The poi was not sour but had good flavors like it was actually pounded there.

If you want some amazing plate lunches, this is the place to hit up. It’s a throw’s distance from the main airport. Locals eat here so you know it’s good. My wife and I tried the BBQ chicken plate and the fried chicken plate. The macaroni salad was the best we ever had (even better than Halo Hawaiin and L&L). The BBQ chicken was chargrilled and intensely satisfying to our tastebuds. The fried chicken was lightly bartered but crispy. We will definitely be back before we leave Maui.

You get good authentic Hawaiian food here with good service. The line was fairly long on a Sunday but not more than 10 minutes wait time. Poi was delicious. We also got deep fried mahi mahi and found it fresh. The hot sauce was extremely hot, so beware! Coconut ice cream was very delightful, highly recommend.

Food is fresh and some of the local dishes are done very well. The squid lu'ua here is really good. Grilled fish is good, but there are better places around and if its your first time trying poi, the stuff here is pretty mild. Service is excellent.

Visited the place for lunch, to taste some Hawaiian cuisine, and was not disappointed. The food tasted good, and the portion size was also nice. The best one was the dish where they served some pork, wrapped in taro leaves, however the ‘poi’ does suit to my taste though. You can give it a try, if you are around.

My son tried the saimin and I had the Hawaiian plate. The tuna poke was salty and delicious. The kalua pork was absolutely mouth watering! Portions were very generous. Overall, excellent quality for the price. Service was friendly and very quick. I had iced tea and it tasted old. We split a coconut chewy pastry for dessert that was a little dry. Nice experience with a little of everything!

One of our favorite Hawaiian places during our Maui trip! It's got sort of a dinner feel to it. We ordered the kalbi beef, which came with two large pieces of meat, Mac salad, cabbage, rice, and a bread roll. We really enjoyed the meat and it was pretty decently priced as well! We also got the poke, both the spicy and traditional, which came topped with wonton chips and served over rice. The poke was fresh and tasty as well. Definitely recommend this place to people looking for some Hawaiian food!

This place should be called Sugar by the pound. What the heck? The Kalbi was too sweet. The Shrimp Lau Lau was sweet. The Pork Lau Lau wasn't but not as good either. What was the five stars for? Am I really missing the point here? But there were three of us. And we all agree it was bad. I have since then been educated nicely by the owner of the way the locals like their food. I guess sweeter than me. I still think it is too sweet by my standards but not for locals. Back to the question? Who are these yelpers? Why are their tastebuds too different from us three? The answer is just who cares? Different than all three of us. So because it's overwhelming sweetness it's a two but for everything else it's four stars. Great service. Awesome owner and very professional! Even if I don't or won't come back for his kalbi I'll still drop by to say hello and give respect to a hardworking local guy! I'm coming from having eaten in Korean restaurants in the bay area countless of times. Now still eating them in DENVER. None of them tastes too sweet of a Kalbi. I've cooked them myself and hosted parties. Never too sweet. So yeah. Did I order the same thing like you but from a different universe? Nah. Just my natural aversion to sweet entrees.

This is the best Hawaiian food I've ever tasted - how is that for a review? The Poke, The Lau Lau, the pork were all just excellent. We came here after seeing the sunrise at Haleakala (and froze our buns off). We got there shortly after 9 and didn't expect it to be open, but they were! There were already a few tables occupied. I can only imagine how crowded it would be at lunch or dinner time. Poke was melt in your mouth fresh and stacked high with great flavor. The Hawaiian mixed plate with Lau Lau, Pork, Poi, Macaroni Salad, soup and Poke was plentiful and almost too much for one person and each dish was fresh and delicious. Even the ramen was pretty good. The service was super friendly and efficient. The food came quickly and the waitress very attentive and friendly.

Only 4 stars because I really wanted poi but they were completely out of stock. Disappointing but I would still recommend this location, I ordered chicken plate lunch with Mac salad and rice and the chicken was FIRE! I hope to return next time I go back to Maui. Highly recommended.

Came in with a big group and they were able to accommodate us. Wasn't that crowded here considering how close it is to the airport. Prices were on the slightly higher side but food came out as expected. Portions were decent too. The bbq ribs were on the dryer side but everything else was good. Friend thought the loco moco was underwhelming for it's price. My pork moco could've been better but we still enjoyed the meal.

This by far was the best meal we have had yet over all. Every bite was flavorful and amazing. Everything is also made from scratch. Sauce game is strong! Great family place with live music on Friday night. No alcohol, but not needed. This is very much a local spot, so get there early as it does fill up fast. They also have food for pick up. A MAUI MUST GO!

Good food with excellent service. The ladies there are super friendly. The parking lot was a bit hard to find as my gps took me through the car dealership next door. Wifi is available and parking wasn’t difficult but it’s not a large lot.

The boneless kalbi was absolutely amazing! Da kitchen wasn’t open and I’m glad they weren’t! Worth it! Perfectly cooked and oh so ono.

Stopped here on our way to the airport to kill some time before our early flight and grab something more local to eat without breaking bank...so so so glad we did! This one one of the best meals we had in Maui and the only place we could get poi (we eventually had some more in Oahu but this place was by far the best). The poke was tasty but the real winner for me was the kalua pork, eggs with gravy, rice and mac salad. Some great moco and the breakfast of champions right there.
