Great place. Friendly staff! Always packed but, the wait is never that long and well worth! Their Skirt steak is best I have had in McHenry!
If I lived in McHenry this would be our go to place!! Been twice and food was absolutely wonderful both times!! Service was top knotch and Cassie is great!! Love this place ❤️

Exceptional service. My husband and I have gone on lunch dates weekly for the last couple years. I love their scramblers, French toast, stuffed potato pancakesandskillets. Very hard to choose for me because there are several things I love on the menu. California or south beach are my favorites. Husband gets either Caliente which is spicy or the portobenny. Our kids love the eggs Benedict. Everything we have ever tried has been wonderful. We often take our out of town company here, everyone’s have ever brought has been impressed and wanted to go back the next time they visit. We love all of the fresh ingredients, bread and English muffins nice and fresh. They are our go to place for, marble rye bread for Rubens around St Patrick’s Day. Always have quick service, including Sunday’s when they are busy with the church goers crowd.
The Brunch Cafe is a favorite of ours! The service is amazing, owner is a great guy, the price point is SO reasonable-especially for the GIANT portions and the food is amazing! Highly recommend them �

We went to the Brunch in Mchenry on Saturday. Very good but very crowded! But got in right away, not a long wait atxall. Went to the Brubch Sunday in Fox River Grove. Like that one so much better. I like the layout better. Wait for four people was less than 10 minutes. For both places, the food came out in less than ten minutes after ordering! Everyone had a big breakfast too! I had their crepes,with avacado, spinach, bacon and scrambled eggs! Oh wow! It was delicious! Im sticking with the crepes from now on! Very very good! Id rate this an EXCELLENT! THANK YOU BRUNCH CAFE! AND... i bought tea in both places since both places have a dufferent variety of their teas, which is excellent also!

The place was very busy for a late lunch, around 1:15 pm, and we had to wait for a table, though there tables that were open.

I thought it was a bit pricey, but the portions were a good size and it was delicious. We don't eat out often so we didn't mind spending the money.

Got a table FAST, even tho' they were packed! VERY friendly staff and food was yummy - we got wraps and salads. Calif. Crepe was huge and delicious.
Always a good experience, even when they are busy. We were able to get a table quickly at noon on a busy weekend and still received great service. Food has always been very good, no complaints. Hope they keep up the great standards they have set.

Normally our go- to is Southern Belles in Barrington because they have amazing skillets but we decided to try something different.
We were a bit disappointed in the variety of skillets and the ingredients in them that they offered, but that's just because southern Belles skillets are unmatched.
We ordered the meat and potato skillet which comes with ham, bacon, sausage, and cheddar cheese. The skillet was over salted but overall it was a decent skillet. It was a bit of a small portion. It comes with a side of pancakes or toast which you can upgrade to any specialty pancakes, French toast, or crepe.
The patty melt was just average. Nothing special. A bit dry, and my boyfriend didn't like how it came on sourdough bread.
The stuffed waffle was my favorite item. The waffle was so crispy and the filling was nice and sweet. There were bananas and strawberries inside and it was topped with whipped cream. It is a bit sweet, but if that's what you're craving then it's perfect for you!
We also got a side of the cinnamon roll French toast which I expected to be crispy but it was soft and almost soggy. The flavor was good though, especially with the cream cheese icing.
Overall, the service was good and food was pretty good. They have a lot of good options, but if you're looking for a good skillet I would say this place isn't it.
Staff was so amazing. Food was honestly more than expected. Going back soon. Oh, and the price mentioned included a tip. Really reasonable price for the food.

Love this place just don't like doing delivery since they never get the eggs right. I always ask for shelled eggs (fresh eggs not the carton eggs) and carton eggs is what we get. In the restaurant we they get it right each time. I feel like when customers order food for delivery we should have the same expectations as dinning in.
YUMMY FOOD & GREAT SERVICE!!! I was most impressed with our entire experience. Even the gentlemen who buss the tables were on point and so nice. The omelets were huge and the hash browns exactly the crispness I asked for. The waitress was personable and even had a little conversation with us. The folx who checked us out were sweet as well.
Was pretty good, would definitely go back to try something else on the menu!
Brunch Cafe is always great. So many things to choose from on the menu. Today, I had the Ruben New Yorker. That is one huge sandwich. I ate half and will take the rest home. Get the sweet potato fries! Best fries ever! I am going to learn how to make those at home. The service was perfect. Lauren did a great job and was very friendly.

I have a new favorite at this restaurant, which I have been to many times!! Lochs and bagel plate! The smoked salmon was the type that is moist and fresh looking. I stacked cream cheese, lochs, tomato, and red onion on a bagel half for a wonderful taste treat! I'll be having that dish when I'm there again!!
