The best authentic Mexican food in McKinney. We have been coming to El Juarez for over two decades and the food quality and staff have always been exceptional. When dining in ask for Lulu - she's the best waitress ever. The beef fajitas are truly the best in McKinney!
Great authentic mexican restaurant! Owner still cooks in the back! Family run and great menudo and other soups if you like that. Best buffet in the metroplex on fridays. $8 gets you the best mexican buffet with all the extras and they keep it hot! Worth a trip from wherever you are!

We've been going here for years & years. It's a family favorite.
The tamales and beef fajita chile relleno were delicious. The combo fajita plate was a bit light on the protein and didn't come with rice which was odd. The place needs some sprucing up. Maybe a deep clean and a new coat of brighter paint but we had zero wait. Friendly staff. Food was very good.
Delicious! Coming here was a treat! My wife and I got the Chile Relleno w/ Cheese and Chicken Enchiladas. Do yourself a favor and dump the salsa from the chips (you can ask for some more) on your entree for some more authentic flavor. Service was great and friendly too right around lunch time.
Menudo! Lets face it, menudo is not for everyone and not everyone can make it. This place will definitely satisfy your palette if you dont or cant make it yourself. I cant comment on any other food items bc once i tried ther menudo i couldnt try anything else. They also have excellent aguas frescas! Est is clean, servers are nice, and the only reason i give a 4 star is because they are on the slower side.
The food was delicious! Tastes like home for me. I gave only 4 stars because I need to go back and try more of the menu. Friendly staff and quick service.
It's authentic Mexican food. I was amazed at the prices, they are extremely reasonable. The servings are large and I was able to make another meal out of the leftovers. The salsas nice and spicy.
The drinks are large. This has a little bit of a dive look that is a hidden treasure. The tamales are worth trying. They make them fresh there. There's live music. I'm not sure of the nights but for sure on Fridays.
Delicious food and great service. If you want fancy and expensive, this is not the place. If you want affordable and delicious, you found it.
Very nice place. They had live music on the Friday night that we went. The food and drinks were every good and at a reasonable price. Only negative was our waitress could have been more personable, but her service was good. Recommend.
Update. This time, service was great, food was even better. Wish they would remodel. Place is rather run down, bathrooms need it as well. Definitely recommend
