I heard about this place through word of mouth. Quaint family-owned place in Medford, MA. If you're looking for reliable customizable Italian food, this place is for you. We both had the gnocchi. The pesto was fresh, creamy, and hit the spot. The Bolognese was hearty, flavorful, and filling. I've found my new go-to. Be aware that It is cash only and BYOB. We had 2 apps and 2 mains (one of which was seafood) for ~$80 not including tip. Well worth it and will definitely be back.
Sometimes you find the best dining in some offbeat locations. Food made to order...no published menu but outstanding choices...BYOB. Best Italian I've had in 8 years since moving to NE from NY. RESERVATIONS a must!! Be surprised at venturing out away from the typical...
Classic red sauce Italian cuisine. Very good stuff. Cash only and BYOB
Excellent meal and service. We had veal, chicken parmigiana, and eggplant rigatoni. They were all excellent. Muscles and stuffed mushrooms for appetizer were very good. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend it. Make sure to make reservations, bring cash and BYOB.
Nappi's is the Best and Unique Italian Restaurant in the Greater Boston area! The Owners are from Italy and they custom cook all their meals and Don't have a Menue! The food is Unbelievable and alot of Amazing choices! Delicious..BYOB and Cash only..Sincerely, Gary Luongo 😀
Expect a loud and down to earth setting with no regular menu to speak of (specials are on a chalk board). The server rattles off a pretty long list of pastas, sauces and house specials, you really have to be ready for it. I liked the flexibility of being able to combine as desired and went with an eggplant cacciatore with fresh fusili. The sauce had a robust finish and coated the pasta well. The fusili seemed just a touch past al dente but still very good. The portion was about perfect on this dish, not as large as some other plates in our group. An enjoyable and recommended experience overall in this casual and lively setting. Note that this is a BYOB; they have wine glasses but no glassware for apéritifs/digestifs/cordials. Also, espresso is the one and only coffee offering.
They don't provide a menu, so the server will tell you what they have. So listen carefully. The starter bread is below average. No oliver oil comes together with it, only some cheap butter. Their pasta is really impressive. The ingredients look simple, but it tastes great! Home style Italian food makes you very comfortable.
