The Tamp and Tap is a half block away from the Peabody Hotel. I came for a morning coffee. I had the Açaí Bowl which was good. I had the Delta Eagle coffee drink with oat milk. It was fantastic!! It was dark chocolate with raspberry. Perfect combination on an unusually cold morning. The staff was very nice. Great spot!!

Food, coffee and ambiance was good. I debated between leaving 3 or 4 stars. I ordered the Santa Fe Burrito and asked for avocado which was $1 extra. I got about halfway through the burrito and had not seen any avocado. I went up to ask about it and the cook had a bit of an attitude. She said, “it’s there”. Then I was asked if I had opened the burrito because it could be at the bottom of the burrito. Sure enough, I had maybe a tablespoon worth of avocado spread in the last bite. Overall the burrito tasted good. Did not appreciate paying a $1 for barely any avocado and getting an attitude about it. I also had the hummingbird coffee which was also delicious. A bit on the sweet side so maybe ask for less honey if you want something less sweet

Stopped in here right after opening while in town for a conference, two days in a row. Great (strong) house coffee and delicious food served quickly. The breakfast sandwich was good but the breakfast burrito was phenomenal. Would love to stop in at a later hour in the future, given the amenities I didn't take advantage of, including lunch offerings and vintage video games.

A nice quiet place to get some work done while having breakfast. From the name, I thought it was a beer pub but it's not. Burrito was very very good so I'll definitely be back to try other things.

Coffee is good, and the food is bad. Period. The coffee is actually good. I tried a cup of hot mocha latte and it was great. However, I ordered an avocado toast too ( with fried eggs and bacons on top). That was terrible. To my surprise they served two pieces of breads. However, the avocado spread was not good, I doubt if that’s made fresh! The fried eggs and bacons were greasy. As a whole it was not good. However, the coffee was great. The cafe looks cool, with many tables and couches. There’s a paid parking just beside the cafe. So you don’t have to worry about the parking. The have beers too on tap, however, I haven’t tasted. I will probably go back to drink more coffee at this place.

We walked from the Peabody Hotel. Short walk. My wife and I had the sausage, egg and cheese muffin sandwich with a side of potatoes. The food was good and fresh. I had a drip coffee and she had a matcha. Great coffee and drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy to unwind in or do some work.

The atmosphere was great and the staff friendly. The food was flavorful! It was simple but flavorful! We got "the Stanley" and an "American burrito". Excellent paired with their coffee. The coffee was prominent tasting yet not overpowering. Alot of fun mixes.

Tried the tennessean, tasted good but it was way too sweet for me. They have a fun gaming area in the shop with old Nintendo classics which was cool to see.

Cool and eclectic coffee shop. Service is good too. They expanded their menu i think cause there were a lot of options for breakfast and lunch. I had avocado toast. It was good and im not a huge avacado toast person. Great meeting spot downtown.

Good find in Memphis for coffee early in the day. The coffee is good but I have to say I would skip the avocado toast with eggs and bacon next time. It tasted fine but was not worth the price I paid for it

Cool eclectic cafe if you are looking for somewhere other than starbucks. I had a good avocado toast with egg and bacon (they could have toasted the bread better). Food was ready in less than 10 minutes. This is a great atmosphere to work from your laptop unless you are distracted easily (customers voices do carry).

I come here almost every Monday and Tuesday to get a coffee and something to eat. They have a wide assortment of different styles of coffee drinks and food. The building is nice and they have retro video games available to play. Sometimes, if you're lucky, they have anime or old Kung fu movies playing.

Food was amazing! We had the avocado Toast with black beans, corn and feta and also the breakfast burrito with chorizo and potatoes- some of the best we’ve had!
