Talk about a hidden gem! This place has great food, good service, and authentic flavors. Good food takes time and this place won't disappoint you!
LOVE IT! This place is the real deal! The food is great and the portions are very generous. The prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back!
Probably the best Middle Eastern food I've had in Memphis! We got the "dinner for two" and it was plenty of food for my young family of 4. Roasted lamb, chicken, beef (I believe), potatoes, perfectly cooked rice, salad, hummus, and lavash (flat pita bread): all for $25. The decor and plates are leftover from Edo and the bathrooms could use some TLC, but their food is the star here, and rightfully so.
An excellent restaurant. We had the sampler plate for two and everything was very well made, the portions enormous, and the staff very friendly. The only drawback is that it doesn’t have a lot for vegetarians other than appetizers and some fish dishes if you eat that. NB: although it is not on the menu, it is closed 1-2 on Friday for prayer.
I am harder to please than a blue haired bitch on Christmas day. So when I say something or some place is fabulous, you better take your back side there immediately. This restaurant's food was FABULOUS!! The decor was confusing. They are using the old Japanese restaurants decor (they are where the old Edo Japanese was), but who cares. I didnt eat the bamboo themed curtains. The humus, the fresh flatbread, the lamb, chicken, beef--sheesh I think I have to go back today for some more. I just made myself hungry. WitchyPoo will see all your fabulous selves there!!
I recently dined at this Yemeni restaurant and had an incredible experience. The lamb haneeth with rice, lamb chops with rice, and lamb soup were all outstanding — bursting with authentic flavors. The service was prompt, ensuring that our food arrived in a timely manner. The atmosphere transported me to Yemen, creating a truly immersive dining experience. The cost and portions are average.
A five-star dining experience that I highly recommend for anyone seeking authentic Yemeni cuisine.
Food is amazing here, would highly recommend it, very well cooked and tastes amazing we ordered numerous things, I am glad they will open a location on Germantown pkwy, because they need the space and better area. The food is amazing and the tea they give out for free inside there is some of the best tea I tried and I’m Middle Eastern.
Staff and waitresses are very nice and food was very good. Price is over medium but totally worth it.
Hands down the BEST food anywhere! Amazing and very fresh food! Let's begin with the fresh bread, oh my goodness the best I've ever had. We had Labaneh and it was so fluffy and delicious. We also ordered the Lamb Haneeth and the Molokhia and rice. One of the best meals I've ever had. The lady that waited on us was so sweet! We will be back every single time we come to Memphis! The best Arabic Mediterranean food anywhere! Everyone needs to eat here atleast once!
The most delicious Arab food I’ve ever had. I can’t even number the times I returned or ordered carry out. I pray for success, kind hearts, and wealth so this business can grow exponentially. Thank you for feeding my belly and my soul! 🙏🏻💝
We have had delivery via Uber eats, etc.
BEST HUMMUS OF MY LIFE. Great falafel, too. The charcoal-grillled chicken was delicious and came with yummy rice and a salad with a traditional spicy dressing. I’ve never had Yemeni food before-it’s extra special.
Will definitely continue to order food from here. Found out it is located where my favorite Japanese restaurant, Edo, had been for 20 years. ❤️
Food is still great! But the Shrinkflation is crazy here. Dinner portions became lunch portions, took away olive oil from the table, even with this the prices got higher, which doesn’t make the argument “the best value”.
It’s odd to go to eastern cuisine restaurants and have conservative/ non-generous food portions.
Spicy chicken with hummus and housemade Yemeni tandoori bread and herbed hot sauce . This was one of the best meals I've eaten lately. Can't wait to come back thru.
Very solid good food. Fahasa was amazing plus their fresh tandoor roti(bread) added extra stars. Chicken haneet was pretty good too. Surprisingly the food came out quick which was a good thing as we were super hungry. Definitely a place to grab a halal bite if around or in Memphis area.
It is amazing. Best food in America.
What a Nice Lunch, the Waitress was Very Kind and Made us feel so Welcome. She brought us a Complementary Dish of Hummus served with A large Round Hot Bread for our First Visit to Queen of Sheba. The Hummus was The Best, I had to ordered More to go as I left! I had the Red Snapper and it takes about 20 minutes or more, but was Well, Worth the Wait, A lovely Salad and Plate of Rice come with this Dish. There is a Self Serve Tea Station with Plenty of Fresh Mint, Cream, and Sugar to add to your Spiced Tea. You can Call Ahead and Get that Red Snapper Started before you get There, too! I enjoyed my Lunch, and will be back!
Good experience. Good Mediterranean food. Try lamb agdah and lamb fahsa.. bread is also great
