Stopped by to grab some bbq before my flight, based on a few people recommending it to me. I got the pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, potato salad, and chopped brisket. Everything except the brisket was good. The brisket I could pass on. It was a good value for the portion sizes. I'd maybe return.

Me and my mom ordered sandwiches to go! The staff was so great, food was hot and the manager made us feel like we were at home. He greated us with a smile and verified our order was correct. Been eating here for years and never got the great HOSPITALITY like we did today. Keep up the good work.
This my third time visiting in the last two weeks yesterday they left a Patty off my burger but the burger was still good and today they replaced it with no problem each time I visit this location they had excellent customer service and the food was good
I bought pork ribs and let me tell you it was 🔥

The chop BBQ sandwich Was so good 👍. It took me back to my childhood when we went to Memphis to get them. Words cannot express how much love That I felt just eating it.with the best fries also..and the lemonade..GREAT JOB ! Just moved back to Memphis..My first visit to this location..GREAT !!!!

Would have been 5 stars if the young lady at the cash register was not so rude to me. I mean, as soon as I told her who I was, her "friendly" demeanor changed. This was on Saturday around 4PM. Now let me start off with the positives. The cooks were very friendly and the food was hot and fresh. This was the best food I had at a Tops Bar-B-Q in a while. And the older light skinned lady was very friendly as well. Maybe she needs to be the cashier instead of the young lady with the tired lace front wig.
The negative: I placed an online order and had specific instuctions on there. However, the instructions may not have displayed correctly on their end because the young lady at the counter rudely told me that she has tried to contact me 2 times. This seemed to have her really upset because she kept being rude. Then, she seemed to be upset when I came to retreive my two cups. She stated "I was trying to give you your cups but you sat down too fast!". Thats a lie because she told me to move to the side after I mentioned my name. So, naturally I sat down until my name was called. I could've easily cursed her out but I kept my calm with her because the other workers were friendly.
My suggestion is to train the young lady at the cash register and thourouhly explain to her what good customer service is. Let her know not to talk down to the customers and almost yell at them like a damn child! Otherwise, get a better cashier.
Delicious food great customer service and not to mention awesome parking!!! Kudo's to this Tops for going the extra mile. Food is always fast and fresh and it's refreshing to see a manager who is dedicated to being the change. This Tops has been in my neighborhood for as long as I can remember and I do believe that right now it's at it's best!
Ordered Party Pack for New Years Eve party. First pan was good, 2nd pan was hard and not edible as if had been in warmer all day or was the scraps left over. Thus far have been unable to reach any one by phone (New Years Day so may be closed) to return or even inform them of this. My job uses Tops often so I was very disappointed in the product I received for my party.***&Update **Kudos to Barbara at stops for making the situation right!!
I had craving for Top's BBQ sandwich and I wasn't disappointed. I found a location near where I was and went there. The location on Lamar Ave was clean and the doors has notices compliant with Covid-19 and the taped off tables supported this. The service was awesome and polite and friendly. I received my order within 5 minutes. My order was dressed according to my instructions and it was just as delicious. Why only 4 stars? The drink station needed some attention. I didn't want sweet tea but if I had, I would have been turned off by the unkempt appearance of the dispenser. Also, the soda station hadn't been wiped. But otherwise, a nice experience and I will return.

I'm a Plain Jane kinda lady. So I was surprised by slaw on my sandwich. But I didn't take it back. I'm glad I took a chance.
Had the Brisket combo, I’m a Kansas City man so I take my BBQ seriously and this brisket was great stuff. They put coleslaw right on the sandwich which I had never had before and it was a rest touch. Highly recommend
I love tops barbecue on lamar been eating here for years the managers are great service is great i love thete briskets i love there new bolonga sandwiches. And jumbo barbecue sandwiches. I rate tops a 5 star. In my book. I wish they served hot dogs are smoke sausage but its ok i like everything else. Also come by tops on lamar and say hi to the new manager. He;s very friendly and great personality and his asst. Manager Barbara is great!!!
Shout out to their A1 staff! My order was messed up but I didn’t notice till I had gotten home but I spoke to the manager and he took care of the problem right away. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! I WILL be back. Thanks again
I've been coming to Memphis for 10 years, from Pennsylvania. Every year I try all of the "5 star"places. Came here on a whim.
This was by far the best BBQ I had ever had!!!
The BBQ sauce was unreal, the meat was savory and perfectly smoked.
Our service was by Chris, a very knowledgeable employee with the best attitude, amazingly friendly!
Thank you tops for this excellent meal.
I'll never go anyone else.
