Stumbled upon this place while visiting from out of town. Grabbed a beer from the friendly guys next door and ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg. Figgin fanstastic! Best buiscuts, thoughtful plating and balance, good portions, and friendly service. Ended up staying much later than planned and enjoyed the wine and cake. Will have to come back for coffee and breakfast before leaving town!

Oooooooooooweeeeeeeee!! This morning I enjoyed the best shrimp and grits I have ever tasted, quite possibly the best in the world. Only one or two other times has food so good ever brought me to the verge of tears. Tears of joy. This was one of those times. Kudos to Chef Tim Barker and his crew. Thank you.

Awesome atmosphere and great food for sure, but it's the staff that make the place shine! Very very cool. Highly recommend

What a great reno of this space. The coffee was GOOD and I had the brined, fried chicken thigh with biscuit and egg and tarragon mayo. Far exceeded my expectations. Loved sitting at the bar with the garage doors open and shopping afterwards! Check this place out.

Just had a biscuit breakfast sandwich, and it was AWESOME! I didn't have coffee because I'm a nightshifter heading to bed. As a veteran barista turned nurse, I can tell you that these folks not only know coffee, they have a passion for it! The staff was knowledgeable in all aspects of what they offer and I can't wait to go back when I need the caffeine.

This place is everything! The staff 10/10, the food 10/10, presentation 10/10, atmosphere 10/10. I sat at one of the high tops and could watch out onto the street. They have large garage type doors that allow you to see right outside. I had a fantastic Bloody Mary (2 of them to be honest) and quiche for my brunch. I haven’t ever tasted a quiche quite like this one and loved it. It was a bit salty but paired perfectly with the side salad. The crust had whole mustard seed I think which was interesting but also really amazing. There’s nothing more they could have done better. I highly recommend. Prices are all very reasonable. Two cocktails and a meal was less than $40 which included 18% gratuity.

First visit and had a good lunch with a couple of friends. Our server Joyce was great! Chicken Salad Salad and chips were just okay. Found the chicken salad to be a bit dry actually and some of the chips had a burnt taste. Big Mimosa was good. Swanky ambiance….reminds me of a place I’d see in NYC.

Worth the 25 minute drive in my case to get here. Liked it enough to say I’ll be back even before I write about the food. Order the plate called “Breakfast”. If you judge the chef by his fried eggs, this one’s a winner. No burnt edges, fully cooked whites and the yolk still runs just the right amount. 5 strips of bacon a biscuit and some fruit will fill up the hungriest of fellows. Great service by Joyce and her team. First local place I’ve been to where your intentionally waited on by three people. I

My first visit here. The food was pretty good. I had the steak and eggs and a mimosa. Moderately priced. The service was slow. We waited 50 mins for our food. The atmosphere was great. I will go back.

I enjoyed my first time brunching at Edge Alley. Make sure you ask for Adrian 😊 when you come, he provided exceptional service and even recommendations of the menu. They have a mixed variety of drinks, I ordered the “Big Mimosa” & “The Good Stuff” (spiked coffee) both were really good and flavorful. I also ordered the special Chicken & Waffles and the French Toast Waffles. The waffles alone were amazing and I will definitely be back.

I came on a Sunday for a friend’s birthday brunch. They only allow 6 people max for a group seating, so I would be aware of that before going. Service was very nice, and the ambiance was too. The food was very good. I had the chicken and waffles and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had the How Now Brown Cow coffee and was not impressed with that. It tasted like a mocha when it’s supposed to be a salted hazelnut coffee. Overall, I would recommend this place.

It was the first time that we tried Edge Alley and it was delicious. We had a reservation and did not have to wait. The speedy service was excellent. Our server was Liam and he was very courteous. The food was fresh and so good. We had the French toast waffle which tasted like Chantilly cake❤️. The Mimosa of course were good as well as the nice and warm Cinnamon sticky bread. We had the Egg and Cheese Sandwich with fruit on the side and it was delectable. The best part is the patio area is pet friendly. We will be returning in the near future.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament and I made a reservation here for dinner. I have no regrets! The service was amazing, the food was outstanding, and the restaurant was adorable. I got the warm olives and toast, the gnocchi and the marmalade tart and it was phenomenal. 10/10 recommend.

This is place is very close to my apartment and I simply love to be here. They have both inside and the patio tables. We walked in, but the pace usually is highly packed. So I highly recommend you to get a reservation before. Their inside environment is very cool, hip, and new age. The staff work here are also cool and welcoming. They have some interesting beverage section. I had a cappuccino and that was too good. The food was good. I ordered a lox with biscuit. The lox fillets were decent, but the thyme lavender biscuits were mind blowing. I took fruits as the side. They were fresh. My boyfriend ordered some waffle. It was good too. We ordered a pie as a dessert. It was a bit mediocre. Overall i think it’s good. Although it was fine for me, but some people may complain about the portion size. Update: we revisited again for the brunch. This time I ordered the fried chicken with biscuit and my friend ate the steak and eggs. Both the dishes were terrific. The only thing is that their menu options are limited. Another update: Loved their chicken sandwich. It was yummy and filling.

This was our first time to Edge Alley, but it won't be our last. The food was excellent! I had the Chicken Club, which is in the picture. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the prices are great. I look forward to returning to try other things in the menu because they all look so good! I really like the location and the vibe of this restaurant. I highly recommend.

A unique spot for Memphis, Edge Alley has successfully shifted from a coffee shop study space to a full restaurant with creative, fresh takes on familiar fare. Good service, fantastic cocktails. Recommend reservations for the popular brunch service. Light, modern space in a refurbished old building but can get very loud.

First, the space is lovely! The artwork, the colors, so inviting. I went with a group for my mother’s birthday. Our sever was fantastic!….attentive, friendly and funny! The food was delicious and extremely generous portions for the price. I think it is definitely my new brunch/lunch spot!!

Most everyone who works there is personable and kind, the food and drinks were amazing, and the set up was great. Perfect natural lighting and atmosphere. Easy to park and I was quickly seated. My friend and I sat there catching up for a while, and even though they were about to lock the doors after brunch, they didn’t rush us out. Really nice energy, not too fancy, not too casual. Def recommend.

Amazing Southern food with a delicate touch. The Shrimp & Grits is the best I've had. Sea salt hazelnut latte is also superb.
