I had the chopped beef dinner. Very good, comes with 2 sides but no bread. Everything was delicious, I really loved the slaw and potato salad💙

If you came all the way to Memphis and were to dumb or lazy to get some B.B.Q. while you were here, this is a great place to redeem yourself. So when your friends ask you how it was you can say you had some the best in Memphis. (Just leave out the part about it being at the airport minutes before you got on the plane to leave).

Great BBQ cooked the way it was when I was a kid. I love their BBQ balona sandwich. I think I will go back this weekend.

The food was great. I ordered the pulled pork dinner with a side of fries. You get to choose 3 different sides but I only wanted fries so got a double order. The BBQ sauce was delicious! It was sweet and smoky with a little tang to it and was perfect on the tender pulled pork. I liked the sauce so much that I bought a bottle to bring home with me to grill with. The service was good but the seating was tight. It's good to just get your food, chow down and be on your way. The atmosphere was casual and there were TVs to keep you occupied. It was loud and very busy so if you're not used to that then you could always order to-go. Would definitely recommend.

I had the best pulled pork sandwich/ coleslaw ever! I couldn't eat it all...The carrot cake was amazing too. I'm from right outside of Philadelphia and this was my first trip to Memphis. I plan on returning in the spring if COVID allows. Thank you Interstate BBQ!!

The airport was winding down for the evening and if you've been traveling you know it's kind of a nightmare of delayed flights, fractious passengers and frazzled staff. Jim Neely's barman let us know he only had Chicken salad sandwiches left but he had drinks if we wanted them. A classically excellent barman. Friendly, unphased and happy to get you a local Memphis beer. Worth the airport price.

5.0 on the food. 2.0 on the speed. Absolute 0 on the sweet tea. Been in and out of this airport for many years....in the northwest times, the major update of the airport times, and the ghost town times. From the mouth of a Mississippi boy who somehow flies for an airline...it's good. The same staff have been there for years (which is why they run it like they own it) and the sweet tea is from a machine (which is why you shouldn't take it to be southern sweet tea). But the food is phenomenal....and that's the reason this place gets 5 stars. Stand in line, get your food and enjoy. Don't sit down and expect to be waited on like royalty. We don't get catered to in the south...we eat!

This is one of the few spots at the Memphis airport that I actually enjoy. It's a poor representation of Mamphis BBQ, but it is tasty nonetheless. The wait times for food can be longer than you would expect. But the pulled pork is nevertheless desirable. They have a few very strange items on the menu like BBQ spaghetti. I can't get myself to try these strange clashes culture foods. But hey, at least they have options. Like most restaurants in this airport, they just need to improve the customer service skills.

I went here while passing through Southhaven, mainly because I didn't want to stop in Memphis proper. I'm glad I did that lazy thing, because I had no idea my life was about to be changed. I had a large pulled pork sandwich and seasoned fries. I'm a big fan of Memphis style barbecue, not a coleslaw person in general but putting it on a sandwich is genius. Well, from the very first bite I knew something was different about Neely's. The slaw was crunchy and chopped slightly larger than typical, which contrasted perfectly with the sweet and spicy pork. Normally my gripe with barbecue sandwiches is that they are under sauce and kind of dry, the sauce comes on the side for you to add to taste but I usually don't think it's enough. Here, it was perfect as served. And honestly I think it would have been fine with no sauce at all, the pork was so juicy. The fries were crispy on the outside with just the right amount of spice, and airy on the inside. I'm not sure if the included tub of barbecue sauce was meant for the sandwich or the fries, but I was pleased by its inclusion as that's my preference for fry dipping anyway. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that this was the best barbecue of my life so far. The prices were quite reasonable and the service was fast and polite. The staff was wonderful. There was a notice on the door, saying that Neely's was understaffed and thus there was no table service. I suggest to Mr Neely that he simply raise his wages to solve this problem. I think that even a slight price hike would be justified if necessary to accomplish this. I found out by googling later that Neely's interstate BBQ is on the Wikipedia page for Memphis style BBQ. I don't know if that is neely's own doing or if they came by the honor honestly. Either way, they deserve it. The meal I had deserves an entire page all to itself. I will be back, and I am looking forward to it.
