Ordered a spicy Thai basil chicken tonight. They did a good job. The sauce had all the right flavors, spicy, sweet, salty. The holy basil hits it just right. Portion was a but skimp along with rice box not filled up all the way. The dish was excellent though. Doordash was 30 minutes late with the delivery, so this dish would've been even better hot.
They make curries every day, lunch and dinner noodles, noodles, rice, dishes, and reasonable prices check out the menu. I’ve posted it I eat here every day. I love it.

It's an excellent Thai restaurant. The Owner was so friendly and nice. The food was terrific, and the service was excellent and quick. I would highly recommend that place.
This is a beautiful downtown spot with great ambience, speedy, friendly service without hovering, and knockout delicious food. I had the tofu fried rice and it had good texture, plenty of flavor and was not oily. I left out egg and for me it was vegan. The price was right also.
Nice Thai eatery with sweet owners. We stopped by for dinner on weekday night. It was not too busy. The guy taking orders was very smiling and welcoming. Although he got a serious communication problem in English. We ordered crab Rangoon to start with. I ate ground chicken with basil that comes with rice on side. My friend ordered the same thing with a side of fried rice. And my another friend ate two types of sushi rolls. The sushi was decent. The friend rice was terrific. The ground chicken with basil was good, however, we couldn’t smell any basil in it! So we were confused, whether the order was rightly conveyed or not, as the waiter was not fluent in English! However, the entree dish was good. We ate medium spicy, which was no spicy at all! If you be are indian/ Asian, or if you can tolerate high spice level, then go for the ‘spicy’ option. Overall, the food was pretty decent.
Delicious appetizers, entrees, and dessert - each course we wanted the next. The service was the best part! Our waitress was so bubbly and as she poured our tea she said, “if you have time for tea, life is beautiful”. We loved the pumpkin custard and the chef also came out to tell us about the fried ice cream, which he served with apple to pair with our tea. Overall - so happy!
Great service and good warm food! The chicken pad Thai was delicious. They have public parking in front of the restaurant and it was so convenient. Traveling from Houston to Detroit and we choose a good place to have dinner.
I just ordered from door dash. I've never had Thai food before. It seemed expensive but I figured why not. Well I was over charged, and a worker called and told me to cancel my order. That i was charged too much. Very nice of her. Thanks. I hope the food is as good as her
They were very kind and accommodating. We had vegan orders with subtractions due to allergies and the orders came out perfectly. To the T. However, we ordered 40 minutes ahead of schedule and waited another 30+ upon arrival. Obviously there is a lot going on with the current situation and that is understandable but it was too long of wait,
Period. DONT order the little deep fried roll things, there’s nothing in them and they’re $.90 a piece. If you’re ordering vegan I would PASS on the noodle dishes. DO order the curries, they are satisfying. 4 stars is generous for our vegan dishes. fish sauce and shrimp paste goes a long way in flavor and I’m sure those options have their own flavor advantages. I would probably order again but I wouldn’t recommend.
Fresh and delicious! Vegan options or adaptations of some specialty plates available upon request, and of course no shortage of options for carnivores. We will be back for more after a mouthwatering and filling dinner. Excellent service, clean presentation, fresh and crisp ingredients. This is a great addition to downtown, just a few steps from The Peadbody Hotel, as well as other nearby hotels and businesses. Convenient parking is no issue, there is a parking garage across the street. Don’t want to go out? They deliver too, but we did not try that.
Update: even better type second time. More staff, more sauce. [previous] If all the take-out orders had been dine-in, we probably would have had a long wait. Service was super friendly if a bit hectic, but I always consider it a blessing if a business I like is, you know, *busy*. (Is that a pun?) Drunken noodles were excellent but could have used a splash more sauce. Can't comment on beers or cocktails because we didn't get a drink menu 😉. Will be here again soon.
Found the restaurant online but really lucked out! Great food and wonderful service. Our server was friendly and really made us feel welcome! Wish we had found this place before our last night here!
Big portions of food with an extensive menu of fried rices, noodles, curries. Lots of fresh vegetables and you can choose your spiciness level. Super friendly service in a cozy, relaxed space well-suited for lunch or dinner.
This place had the most impeccable service!! It exceeded my group's expected! The dishes were all tasteful and portions were generous! Will definitely be back!
I come to Memphis quite often for work just about every two months. During my week-long stay, I look for new restaurants and good experiences. On my last trip, I visited The Nine which is a Thai and Sushi restaurant. The menu here has a nice variety of appetizers which I tried the Sampler. This consisted of Crispy Rolls; similar to a Chinese Egg Roll Wrapper small fun size, Fried Potstickers, Crab rangoons, and Coconut Shrimp; similar to a Panko or Japanese style bread crumb crusted shrimp that is deep fried.
It was pretty tough choosing from the assortment of various Stir Fried Noodles and Rice dishes to the Thai Curry, through the dinner style entree dishes. Ultimately I ended up ordering the Drunken Noodles with Tofu for the protein. Don't be confused with the Drunken part of this rice noodle dish. It has a great flavor the Thai style sauce just lightly covers all the fresh vegetables, green and red bell peppers, nicely cooked with bean sprouts all cooked to retain its flavor and a bit of a fresh snap. And the addition of the fried egg sprinkled through the dish was a nice surprise. Aromatics of basil and what seemed to be a Thai pepper or Jalapeno just helped to open up the pallet for the slightly on the hot side spiced enjoyment of Thai cuisine.
Over all the portion size for one person is just enough, and if your unable to eat it all they will box it up with more of the Drunken Sause for later. I look forward to eating here again and will let others know at my office my meal was great. Check it out if your downtown and are looking for a good Thai meal.
