Unassuming on the outside, but breakfast was delicious! I was not aware you could make a simple piece of toast have such an amazing flavor with almost nothing done to it. Unpolished on the inside, but the food was well worth it. Looking forward to having breakfast here another weekend morning.

Amazing quick service!! We are from it off town and this is a must visit. It's alittle hole in the wall place.but amazing warm home feel inside the people are kind and very attentive. Not very expensive like alot of places around here

I came in looking for waffles and chicken. Coming from Minnesota I was told I needed to have it, it was amazing. The chicken was flavorful and crispy and the sweet potato waffle was excellent!!

I enjoy my breakfast here every time. I love the sweet potato pancakes 😍 It's hard to explore the menu knowing how great they are. The kid's plate is very good and healthy too. My son enjoyed his plate as well.
Delicious. Best meal of my week and I'm looking forward to coming back. Food is made from scratch, to order and is well seasoned😉. Atmosphere is comfortable casual and service is courteous. Menu is actually quite diverse and even on a strict keto diet I'm leaving satisfied. Would add a photo but no one wants to see my empty plate!
My friends and I went to The Waffle Iron (formerly E’s) because of another friend’s fb rave about it. I went to see for myself. I have never had pancakes this good. The food is great! The service is great! The prices are great! Danielle, the owner, is friendly and professional and her staff were too! I live in Cordova, but I don’t have a problem driving to East Memphis for breakfast here!!!
The food is cool, but what makes this place GREAT is the service and atmosphere. I really enjoyed my time there. Tip: If you get the sweet potato pancakes, ask for extra butter.
Excellent food & hospitality! Owner waited on us and is so sweet, just like the pumpkin pie pancakes. Fried pickles in corn meal good and not greasy. Fresh made griddle food.
The owner Danielle is amazing she has a humbled spirit about her. The environment upon walking in was pleasant but hectic. One sever appeared like she did not want to be there. One with the braids. However, there was this one pleasant server who also embodied Danielle's attitude. Her name was nesh. May have spelled her name wrong. However i am excited to sample the food and will visit again. I will make another review after I taste the food. #welcome
Food was delicious and service was great! For those that mention service as slow, I can say that the food is fresh and from scratch and is not just thrown at you, which is rare.

Really good food! Fresh off the grill and fast. The cook and servers were attentive and polite. I’ll definitely be back soon.
