Sitting here at the new location downtown and wow! Food is incredible! Everyone treats you like family and service is fast. Love RJ the owner like a brother, and the entire team works and cooks with love.
We ordered two orders of wings (one agave + seasoning, another lemon pepper + buffalo), fries, and mac and cheese. The wings were absolutely delicious. The texture and flavors were spot on, and the staff was so kind. Definitely the best vegan food in Memphis!
The burgers, the wings, and Mac n cheese are amazing. I had the fried cauliflower wings sauced with a mix of the agave gold and hot, and it taste just like honey hot wings. The outside has a nice crunch because they fried it and the inside is just the right amount of firmness and juicy.🤤 I ordered them to go and they didn't make it home.
Delicious!!!! The burger was juicy and flavorful! The fries had the best spices on them and the mac & cheese was amazing. Had a great time eating here. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. My non-vegan sister was so impressed as well!
I came in today for a remake order & decided to get Agave Gold instead of Buffalo, and these fried oyster mushrooms were FYEEE. This was my 3rd time coming here, and I am VERY pleased. I highly recommend Plant Based Heat to vegans and non-vegans alike (their food will convince friends/fam that’s eating vegan is amazing ;) ). Thank you to the owner, RJ, for the awesome customer service and being so kind to respond to my feedback about the issue with my previous order and offering me a free remake! I really appreciate it and will be back to PBH again.
Heard about this spot from my sister, so I went to check it out.
I absolutely loved the food, Best vegan spot I’ve tasted. I had the classic and agave gold cauliflower with seasoned fries. Fries were cooked well done at my request and loved that the cashier gave her fav menu item suggestions..all over vibe and my taste buds were satisfied. My sisters first time trying began food and she LOVED it!
They taste better than popular franchise brands. Hoping to see more locations very soon!! (Preferably Dallas so I don’t have to wait to get food when I come to Memphis)
For me not to be a vegan of any sort. The Veggie dog(No its not the real name of it) with barbeque sauce and slaw was immaculate. The veggie wings (Also not the real name of it) are just as good. Just wish the establishment had a little more seating for customers. Well worth the stop!
Drove from St. Louis to visit this location, was definitely not disappointed. I wanted to order the whole menu… but I can share. I did have lemon pepper wings, chicken nuggets, Mac and cheese and a corn dog with two sides of fries😂. Everything was delicious the homemade ranch was great paired with the wings. The young lady who took my order was very patient and recommended items as well. They do offer dine in seating which i think is truly a plus! There is parking on the side of the establishment with plenty of space. Will return on my next visit to Memphis. I also have to purchase a PBH Memphis t-shirt in orange once my size is available!

My wife and i love this place! the owner knows our order(s) as soon as we walk in! great customer service and we are IN LOVE WITH the poster mushroom basket and fries& sweet potatoes, the oyster mushroom sandwich ( gluten free bread/lettuce wrap) , and the last time we got the bbq jackfruit sandwich (not pictured) with coleslaw!! They NEVER disappoint. (great cheat day restaurant!)
BOB.... wonderful place to enjoy some vegetarian meal!! The team was as awesome as the meal I had.
Had the Holiday Menu up today so many great options to choose from. I tried the Mac N cheese, Smoked sausage, baked beans, brisket, homemade lemonade and 2 cakes. Waiting on my rib tips. WELL WORTH THA WAIT YA HUUURE ME !!!
My girlfriend and I came in two weeks ago and I have been meaning to leave a review since we ate. We got the fried oyster mushrooms, gluten free chicken sandwich, and a heat burger. We both agree this was the most delicious vegan comfort food we have had. They took their time and separately breaded the chicken and oyster mushrooms in a separate gluten free flour for my girlfriend because she has celiacs. It was all very delicious and the service was very kind and helpful as well. I do not live near here so stopping by was a pleasant treat.
My wife and I have been wanting to try this place out ever since they opened, and I'm glad that we finally made it over today! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a hard time choosing between all of the options since everything sounded so good. Both of our meals were great though, and we can't wait to come back and try some burgers and vings!

Today’s dining adventure at Plant Based Heat was a wonderful experience! The Fye Junt burger, seasoned fries, baked beans, & Zevia cola were just that - 🔥🔥🔥!
So delicious! RJ Groove and his team exhibited excellent customer service! The music was relaxing. It was a whole vibe :). I felt so taken care of.

First time ordering here. The food was delicious! The staff were great, & my food was hot & fresh. I was full all day. I saw the Grand opening with Samantha brown. Bring more items, & keep bringing the veggies
My son is a vegetarian and I like to Share his world from time to time. So I spotted this restaurant by the U of M campus. We stopped by and was greeted right away. I'm excited to get home to try it.
I went to this restaurant on opening day and I’ve been a repeat customer every since! Plant Based Heat exemplifies Southern Hospitality at its finest! RJ and his team have great customer service, impeccable vegan food, good music, and the energy in the establishment is refreshing!! I’ve had almost every item on the menu and I still find a way to come back often! Even if you aren’t vegan and are looking to try something new, you should give them a try. You will not be disappointed!
I was passing through Memphis with my Sista friend Debora and she suggested this restaurant as I am vegan. Let me tell you, the food was amazing!! We had the BBQ jackfruit nachos, BBQ wings, spicey wings, Mac & cheese, steamed spinach and baked beans. It was all so very stood. The staff was welcoming and professional, the owner was there to please. I am totally thrilled with the meal we shared at Plant Based Heat. It was evident the food was prepared with love.
