The food was hot and delightful! Even the bread was warm and the butter soft. This Longhorn in Mentor went out of its way to please with, extra dip for the appetizer, silverware,A1 sauce pkg. for the steak. Everything was wonderful!
We ordered two rib-eye steaks one medium and one medium well. We received two beautiful steaks well seasoned but medium rare and one medium maybe . Waitress came back after a little bit and offered to take them back but we were hungry and short of time and decided to just eat them. They were tasty and the salad and potatoes were great. This was the first time I visited this particular Longhorn. It was on Veteran’s Day, but they weren’t too busy when we arrived. We had a party of four. They greet us and took us to a booth, which we wanted. Overall the restaurant was clean. Our table was clean as well as the booth seats. The bathroom was clean also. The waiter was friendly. We ordered appetizers. My friend really enjoyed the spinach dip. She said it was better than the Cheescake Factory’ dip. I ordered the buffalo wings. The sauce wasn’t on the chicken, but it was tasty. I also order French onion soup which was very good!! For my entree, I had the porterhouse steak with onions and mushrooms. I always ordered medium well. It was cooked to my liking. It was seasoned well. I also had fries. One friend also ordered a steak with a loaded potato. Unfortunately, her steak was too rare. The waiter took it back. When he came back, they cooked a fresh steak to her satisfaction and a fresh loaded potato! Another friend ordered the salmon and rice. She said it was very good. The other friend tried the Parmesan crusted chicken breast which she enjoyed. The portions were big. I didn’t finish my steak or fries. All of us needed to go boxes. The prices were reasonable. If I was in the Mentor area, I would go back.
We took our granddaughter out to Longhorn after her gymnastics practice. The loaves of bread they brought to our table were noteworthy. She ordered a steak off of the kids menu while we ordered filets for ourselves. We also ordered chicken wings as an appetizer for the table. All of our meals were excellent, as was the service. We took home a strawberry and cream shortcake and ate it the next day.....fabulous.
I always end up going here once a year. It's a great place to eat. Every time I go here the food is absolutely delicious and well made. Steak is properly cooked however you order it and the food is put together aesthetically, the atmosphere is great. Old cowboy style and the lights are dim and the seating is comfortable. A great place for going with family, going on a date or alone. And the servers and waiters have great energy, they hear good and they take your orders perfectly.
Our server was very nice and attentive. My husband's steak was good and I liked my shrimp as well. We were out shopping and decided to stop when they weren't busy. Otherwise it's just too long of a wait during dinner hours. We would probably go more often if we didn't have to wait so long
There was only about a 5 minute wait for a table. Good thing we didn't have to wait longer or we wouldn't have been able to unstick our feet from the floor. The floor in the waiting area was so sticky that you could feel, as well as hear, yourself walking. Other than that we had a nice dinner. Good food, good service and the music wasn't so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation. Prices are affordable and portions were more than sufficient. The bread they serve while you're waiting is great!
We had the best meal and service we have ever had at Longhorn. If I could give our server 10 stars I would. Our steak was spot on and delicious. The restaurant was packed but everything still was timed perfectly and our glasses were never empty.
Felt the portions were rather skimpy.
Went there to celebrate my birthday, the service and atmosphere were great.. My girlfriend and I both ordered the Ribeye steak for 26 dollars. Honestly it was about 6 oz looked more like a steak-umm than anything else. My girlfriend had enough to eat with the salad and baked potato however I could have eaten a hamburger afterwards....
I have been to this LongHorn twice over the last two years: once for my birthday and once with my brother. Both times we were seated quickly and service was good the entire time.
The first time that I went for my birthday, I got some bread, the shrimp and scallop soup, white cheddar stuffed mushrooms, the 9oz Flo's Fillet, and a side of mushrooms. It was a lot, but man was it amazing, especially the stuffed mushrooms and the fillet.
Loved it so much, had to take my brother with me to get him to try it a year later. Same great food and service, though he tried the Wisconsin Mac and Cheese, which he felt was fine, but nothing special. I also tried the mashed potatoes this time around. They were pretty good, fluffy and buttery.
Would definitely suggest giving this place a try!

I love Longhorn Steakhouse, it is my favorite place to go for dine in. This particular visit was a total disaster, the food was too salty and the seating was uncomfortable for me. The waitress was exceptionally nice and friendly. I guess I am used to the location in Independence. This was my first time dining at the Mentor location.
$36.58 for two Cesar salads to go at lunch, both had generous amounts of crunchy lettuce that was not soggy and shaved Parmesan cheese. They have the best dressing out of anywhere, makes it worth it every time. I ordered the 10oz salmon with one of the salads, delicious but it was a little too much food for lunch so I may get the 7oz next time.
One of the Best Longhorn Steakhouse's I have ever visited!! The food was great and the service was fantastic!! Tyler was super accommodating! She even gave us a complementary dessert for our retiree. Will definitely be back!!
Place was super packed early on a Saturday. Short staffed but amazing service and Christine, our server was amazing and attentive. Food was awesome as always. Longhorn always does it right. Always a great hot meal and outstanding service from the time you walk in till the time you take your last bite.
Upon walking in, this place looks well kept and clean. Service was very friendly and attentive. Our food was very good. Overall, a positive experience and I see myself coming back here again.
Food was really tasty! Hot & fresh! Our waitress was excellent! Only complaint was the bread had no flavor whatsoever was fresh too! No wait on a Friday evening! My daughter and I enjoyed the experience!
There was little to no waiting time. Our server Jayden was friendly, efficient and did a great job. Our meals were well prepared and good. Great dinner experience.
